May be, what I don’t like and you see it in both Dier and Alli is their arrogance. Whereas the likes of Winks, Lloris, Vertonghen and Kane ooze professionalism and class.
This is absolute fucking garbage of the worst kind.

Dele is regularly talked about as being one of the very best trainers at the club, who works the hardest and runs the furthest in the pre-season drills. It's been that way since the very first moment he arrived at the club. Dier meanwhile worked his arse off to go from speculative buy from Portugal to an integral part of Pochettino's team for years, with some of our best results coming with him in the side. He's also trained for and played multiple positions to a good Premier League level. But yes, they're absolutely lacking professionalism.

As for class, go do a Twitter search for something like 'Dele hospital visit' or something similar, and see stories from people with young kids in hospital who have received visits from these guys. Not because there was media around or because they were directed to by the club, but off their own bat because someone reached out.

But yeah, they absolutely should be aiming to emulate the professionalism of a captain who was apprehended for drink driving the night before training, or a CB who made lots of noises agitating to leave when things didn't go his way (I'm not trying to throw those two under the bus, just using it as an example of how fucking idiotic your comparison is).

Instead of this unambiguous, unsupported nonsense, why don't you provide any specific examples to demonstrate said lack of professionalism or class, instead of just crass generalisations?

The little kid was my friends nephew. They contacted deles foster mum on facebook. She phoned him as he'd just back from germany. Went straight round to gosh taking the kid presents and spent an hour playing fifa with him. No agent no media (the family told everyone).
He even got winks and a couple of others (can't remember who) to visit the kid after.

I was joking. This wasn’t an actual serious point!

Transfer fees have gone berserk in the past couple of seasons and 30m is what you have to pay for a player with high potential. It doesn't for one minute mean that he'll be straight into the first team, especially not ahead of a player who's been to the semi finals of the World Cup and been heavily relied on for a consistent run of top 4 finishes in the EPL. IMO, Saliba would be one for a couple of seasons time and a few run outs in between.

I agree it doesn’t mean they’ll go straight into the 1st team. As per Dier, Trippier played in a WC semi and in a top 4 side the last 2 seasons yet he’s still the major weakness in our line up.

Like I’ve said previously, Dier was very good in his 1st season and excellent one year at DM, since then he’s piled on the weight and not reproduced anywhere near those performances. We play a high press and he doesn’t fit into this ethos. He’s also said he doesn’t want to play as a CB.

Dele absolutely is a superstar, what are you on about? Why don't you take 10 seconds to think before posting?

No he’s not a superstar... he’s a very good player when he turns up but he’s certainly not a superstar. Hazard, Ronaldo, Messi, Suarez... they’re superstars.

Nah, you're absolutely wrong. Hence why Adidas pays the fucker a shitload to represent its brand. You don't know what a superstar is, and that's okay.

Fucking LOL. You got any figures to back up that he's, err, 'piled on the weight' or is just more unfounded garbage?

Also, you have any quotes to back up the claim that he "said he doesn't want to play as a CB?" The only direct quote I can find from him regarding positions is: "I enjoy both. I have enjoyed playing at centre-back over the last couple of weeks. We have played some really difficult teams, so playing at centre-back has given me different challenges and I have enjoyed that as well." (https://www.90min.com/posts/5778171...but-admits-he-doesn-t-know-where-he-ll-end-up ) So, again, you're talking nonsense from the evidence, or lack thereof, provided.

I also see you can't provide any actual examples of your early guff about professionalism and class, instead just tossing out a lazy disagree. So, the only logical conclusion, as suspected, is that you're talking absolute shit.

We need arrogance in the side. If we’re a squad of nice boys, we’ll get nowhere. Need arrogance and shithouses. If you dont like that, winning things isnt for you.

Modern players at top clubs do not 'pile on the weight' and still get on the pitch. Their diet is fully planned for them and monitored every day. It's not like the 60s and 70s when players would be out on the piss the night before a game and stopping off for a pie on the way to the match.

I’m not saying every needs to be a goody 2 shoes on the pitch. Look at the return to training pics, Moura, Winks, KW-Peters... big smiles on their faces. Dier - looked beyond miserable. As a team for the last few months of the season a lot of the players looked disinterested and that was evidenced by our diabolical form and poor end of season points total, what was it? 12 defeats in total. Yes we had injuries etc but Eriksen was already on the plane to Madrid and Alli was poor.

I get that you're trying to play it off as if completely embarrassing yourself in this thread is nothing, but this post probably adds more of value than every one of your moronic, unsubstantiated posts on the last few pages combined. Progress.

Are you not miserable and/or very hungover your first day back to work from vacation?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA now he's arrogant and disinterested because he wasn't smiling when photographed at training. I don't know about anyone else, but when I go to work I absolutely have a smile on my face from the minute I walk in until I leave for home just in case someone surprises me with a photograph.

Fuck me, I've seen it all now. You have to be a genuine moron to even think about posting that, let alone actually typing it out, looking at it, and then thinking, 'You know what, this is something that I really feel like saying.'

A mate of mine is related to the kid and said Dele was brilliant. But would not let him win on FIFA lol.

I know you know people who have experienced this first hand, but I'm sorry mate, I have to doubt it because Teesside says he lacks class based off nothing. Nothing personal, but I have to value unsubstantiated forum posts based on fuck all over personal experience. Sorry.
