Your point makes no sense given Rose isn’t 30, we’ve offered Llorente a new contract and we’ve never tried to sell Lloris or Vertonghen.
Wonder what rose meant when he said it’s the clubs policy to move players on when they reach a certain age then?

I would be gutted to lose Rose.
He gives so much thrust going forward, doesn't take any shit, and seems to piss off a lot of other fan-bases...perfect (y)

He is dynamic going forwards, yes but I would not say his end product is enough to suggest he gives so much going forwards - in his entire spurs career he has 10 goals 27 assists.

Going by rose comments it doesn’t sound like it’s his decision to leave, so if he was 26 and not approaching 30 would we still be looking to sell him?
His age is probably a factor but I don’t think that’s why we’re selling him. It’s probably more due to the fact he’s injury-prone, wanted to leave last summer and because he criticised the club publicly.

We will have to agree to disagree then ??

Between Davies and Rose, I've always considered Davies the more consistent defender and Rose the more dynamic attacking fullback. Davies remains consistent defensively but Rose isn't as dynamic as he used to be and quite often relies on drawing fouls from the opposition. His technical ability and decision making in the final third also frequently let us down.

I like Danny and I like his aggression and agro. I wouldn't seek to push him out. But I think Sessegnon is an attacking upgrade for our left hand side, without weakening our defensive game significantly. I'd be happy selling Rose for £20m and getting young Ryan for £30m.

Travels to Germany. Suspect he's staying then.

Don't think it necessarily confirms he's staying, but I'd imagine we'd want him to be match fit for the season ahead in case he does stay.

No point having him sitting out the whole of PS only for him to have to get match fit if he stays.

Poch had said any player who hadn’t arranged a move by the return from Asia would be reintegrated. Just keeping his word

Reading from this that this will be our squad for the coming season. Reason being if there’s no moves on the horizon for Rose and Eriksen then not sure we will be bringing in GLC and Sessegnon considering our strict budget

I would have no problem with Danny staying but I have got the impression he has wanted to graze on pastures new for a while. If that's what he wants and someone comes in for him then I don't think that's a problem.

Seeing that he's in the squad and how happy I am at that reminds me how beneficial it will be for the squad for him to stay. I think if we're talking just footballing ability he'd no doubt be with us, I suspect that any desire to have him out of the team comes from external issues.

I'd even be content in keeping Rose and having Aurier/Foyth/KWP at RB for now maybe until January if that position would be too much a stretch to add to right now. Without Rose though our back 4 feels very weak right now and there's not even a guarantee that Sessegnon would alleviate that.

Him going just leaves us with too much work to do IMO.
