Would take that as a not hopeful/no. If he's gonna leave speculation should ramp up soon cause there's only what, a week left?

We basically needed to sign a young playmaker with high chance creation 12-18 months ago, so this was less of an issue.

Makes me even more annoyed that Leicester got Maddison and Perreira. Two players who would solve both of our headaches.

Such a shame we missed out on Brandt early on the window to Dortmund. Was widely confirmed we were in for him and I think he'd have been that player.

If/when Eriksen leaves we need to go all in for Camavinga in January or next summer this kid is going to be an absolute superstar. Given Potch’s record with the younger players and fact with us he will more than likely be straight away involved in first team would hope that might give us an advantage compared with all the other top European clubs who will be after him

Didn't know about this kid, but I do now! Thanks for the heads up.

We should probably go in for him regardless of the Eriksen situation; he looks a real talent.

One thing though, is that Transfer Markt lists him as a defensive midfielder rather than an attacking player. I know these things are fluid, but they tend to be fairly accurate in their estimations of players, etc.

He’s made 6 appearances in Ligue 1. How can you possibly know that?!? :D

There’s been reports out this week we were following Camavinga last season and were interested in the summer, could well be one of the u21 players itk suggested we were after

Yup

Fist priority: get top 4

I’d be surprised if Chelsea were in the top 4, and anyone else outside last year’s top 6.

So really it comes down to: can we finish above at least one of Utd or Arsenal without Eriksen.

If we can, sell. If we can’t, then we need to accept that he’ll leave for free.

We have to stay in the CL, and must stop others getting in.

Arsenal in particular. They’ve spent big and if they fail to get in the CL would really hurt

Obviously you need a time machine to know the answer to if we can get top 4 if we sell him!
