Someone said in the match day thread that he hasn't scored a PL free kick since 2015. Is that true?

He may run further but it's ineffective, especially defensively.

Please soneone at the club show him how to defend and tackle although it may be a struggle as he's a coward.

I'm happy to drive him to Madrid - If he goes there he'll get abssolutley sluaghtered by their fans.
I agree in a way, Eriksen has so much ability, but clubs like Madrid expect it 10/10 not just in spurts, not sure he has the mentality to put up with such demands

It wasn't too long ago when he was getting the same critisism re the Denmark national team as some of us Spurs have been complaining about.

The only one with a plausible and actual insight to Eriksen commitment is Pochettino and he plays him basically every match. Pochettino has been ruthless in the past with players who doesn't show commitment so I have no doubt in my mind that he would bench Eriksen if that was the case.

Not like poch has any other people to choose from for that unique role he plays

Could argue dele or son but they are completely different players to eriksen

Technically brilliant, but he doesn’t possess the dynamism or security on the ball to play deeper. Just doesn’t know how to control games there. He’s better closer to goal, but because we don’t have any passing midfielders bar Winks, we’re forced to play Eriksen there.

I think he's utter class and genuinely brilliant on occasion, but I'm afraid whatever "it" is that makes a player truly world class, to take a game by the scruff of the neck, he doesn't have it. Not making him a scapegoat, just observing.

His form isn't the best but he is still creating chances for us...

I don't think he goes on the pitch and beforehand thinks to himself... Fuck it I won't be trying... Just think he isn't on form that's all.

I’ve seen 0 people here blame Kane but will blame Eriksen, why?

Eriksen created chances for Kane which he’s supposed to do bit Kane didn’t take them. I love Kane and I know he scored but he wasn’t clinical today

Eriksen has been turgid for months now. He papers over the cracks with the odd long ranger and a deft pass but I can’t believe how many simple things wrong he does on a football pitch.

He can’t do the basics. Our squad depth is so shit that he is picked by default. He’s one player who has no competition at all.

He can go at the end of the season and that's fine by me. Will be a shame as he'll be almost impossible to replace.

He deserved better players around him to be brought in over the last few years and his head looks as though its been turned.

I think people should give Eriksen more credit for the sacrifices he's making, to have this poor run of games and make sure Madrid choose Hazard instead. Putting the team first.

Anyway, I think he's been poor for a while now, I'm getting annoyed that Poch does absolutely fuck all about it but I agree that Kane was so poor today also.

Poch can't drop him, he is integral to the way we play, no Eriksen means zero creativity, not that he's done much creating this season!

What can Poch do about it? We've no one to replace Ericksen and we don't have the players in the squad to change to a system that doesn't require him!

In all of world football and not over that magic £20 million mark - are we honestly believing that there isn't a player that could have been purchased in either of the windows that would have taken the pressure off of Eriksen over the course of this season?

I'm fucking baffled that they couldn't find ONE player to add to the ranks of this squad who could have offered options similar to what he brings to the team. I know it wouldn't be like for like but surely ...

What a fucking oversight. Whose fault is that?

Well see I feel there's a hang up on like for like replacement, we don't necessarily have to do that, We can first of all give Lamela a go centrally who performs well, if he's playing poorly you can bring Eriksen on. You can even change it up so we can have Moura RW, Son LW and dele in the hole behind Kane. There's plenty of options to try other than doing nothing about it.

Of course there is. It depends if you believe the Poch didn’t want to sign anyone or we couldn’t find anyone idea or the as we didn’t sell anyone we didn’t have even £20m to spend on a player. I know which one I believe taking historical evidence into my decision making.
