If we lose him, sign Anderson. Not like for like at all, but absolute quality.
We should have got him from Lazio. I got shot down for saying he was qulity in the general transfer thread. I was amazed they managed to nab him, far too good for them. At least we all know he won’t stay there past another season at the most. Can see Chelsea going for him as a Hazard replacement.

Apologies if I’m being dumb but where has all this Eriksen to RM come from?

From this:

Its Real not Barca and we obviously don't want to lose him.
Not money related and has turned down all our contract offers.
Its dynamic is code for we are wanting him to sign but not willing for him to take this into his last year and go on a free!
That's if Real even want him which we cant say as his agent will be talking to them.
Hugely disappointing but not much we can do other than make sure we dont lose one of our prize assets for nothing.

Oh should have realised it was Felipe as he'd just scored a double lol.

Never expected him to stay forever, he's a smart lad who could easily play in any league and learn any language. Not to mention his footballing idols were the Laudrups, unsurprisingly, who famously played for Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich, amongst others.

Hopefully we can convince him to stay. He'd be one of the more difficult players to replace, for sure. We need to start pushing on and matching his ambition, though.

Other than one great shot he was below what we have come to expect of him but he wasn’t alone in that. Trippier’s passing was pub standard.

Nah I don't question his mentality or commitment within his contract lenght.
Like many more he just tired, while we had no one to replace him or others to carry him through the second half.
Dont' think this was an easy second half for him.

Should he be tired though?

Should he not? We have together with Everton the least amount of rest through the xmas periode, we've gone full throttle and trashed two teams prior to this. Should or should not? He did, that's what important.
