AS are basically the onion for football. Thought the latest itk was he wanted barca not madrid and there was no intrest there, at least not yet.

Yep also AS trying to keep Real relevant seeing as they are out of the CL.

He has been an amazing player for us, but it kinda feels the right time for him to move on.
He looks like he needs a fresh challenge and if it is RM or Barca I would wish him all the best.

Anything over £70m will be great money for us, as long as we reinvest it properly.

Papers tomorrow saying Eriksen will stay one more season so Madrid can pick him up on a free next Summer.
I agree with the above. Sell him this summer for a decent fee. Go after Brooks (or Grealish, but think Brooks will be awesome) to replace him and use any left over cash towards CM or RB or forward.
Imagine a summer of Brooks, zaha (similar) AWB and a good CM

I really liked the look of Ziyech for Ajax, 25 million release clause too apparently?!

Could make a good replacement for Eriksen....

If he refuses to push the deal this window so we get a fee he’s a shit bag tbf. Levy should stick an extra £50 in the lads wages next week to pin him down and shave his hair off.

In my beered up celebratory state just checked the race for the top 4. Spurs 3 points from the last available 12. UTD 2 points from the last available 12. Arsenal 1 point from the last available 12.

Turns out his goal against Brighton was probably a 100million pound goal!

If he doesn't sign we have to get rid. Arsenal are in this state partly because they aren't getting fees for some players

i dont care what this man has done over the last few weeks but sign him up. CL SF or not, get him to be the heart beat of our side going forward

If he's having his mind set on Madrid, there's no money in the world keeping him at Spurs. He's been loyal and a good servant for many seasons now. Real are building Galacticos 2.0 with Zidane and Eriksen wants to be a part of that.

Some positive comments from the Danish NT coach. hope that there’s some truth in it.

Denmark boss gives Christian Eriksen transfer update amid Real Madrid interest
Tottenham midfielder Eriksen continues to be linked with a transfer to Real Madrid.

Christian Eriksen has no plans to bow out at Spurs after the Champions League final, according to his international manager.

The Denmark midfielder is on Real Madrid ’s wanted list as Mauricio Pochettino struggles to tie down his star man long-term.

Eriksen’s current contract expires at the end of next season so Spurs may have to sell him this summer or risk losing him for nothing in 2020.

But Denmark coach Age Hareide doesn’t expect an Eriksen swansong and said: “Michael Laudrup became an icon after playing in both clubs in Spain (Real Madrid and FC Barcelona ).

“But Christian is perhaps an icon already. Tottenham is in the Champions League final - and not Real Madrid.”

Eriksen is a player that continues to impress Real having been a long-term target for Los Blancos

Zinedine Zidane's return to the Bernabeu has swelled the speculation surrounding the playmaker and a potential switch to the Spanish capital.

Zidane wants a summer overhaul at Real with Manchester United's Paul Pogba another star on his list of targets.

Eriksen left Ajax for Tottenham in August 2013, moving to White Hart Lane in a deal worth around £11million.

The 17-year-old has played 276 times for Spurs in all competitions, finding the net on 66 occasions.

He has the opportunity to pick up his first piece of silverware since his switch to north London in the Champions League final against Liverpool in Madrid on Saturday.

Eriksen won three successive Eredivisie titles before moving to England.

Internationally, he has 26 goals in 87 games for Denmark.
