He'd be very good here I think. He can't get into the international team because Modrič and Rakitic are ahead of him.

Also in his first season in the Prem at a team in turmoil.
No reason to be writing him off at all.

I think another technical player in there next to him would really help. While I really like Winks, he isn’t that technical midfielder that would benefit Eriksen. I’ve seen Kovacic mentioned, he’d be a good player for Eriksen, but we’ll never sign him. It’s maybe why we tried hard for de Jong.
I guess we’ll never know now anyway. He’s going to go. I do wonder what his motivation will be like should they or Barcelona not come in for him. If he stays and signs a new contract, what it will do to him psychologically. Hopefully he’d just get on with it.

so if you don't rate Eriksen you are an idiot.Unlike Modric and Carrick who played well or brilliant all the time he is a play well one in three the rest of the time he is anonymous.
Why can't it be people are allowed to see things differently.
There're some on here that would change most of the team just so he can show his abilities.
Where if he was the player some say he is he would be taking control and running things I don't believe that those that can't see he is not world class are idiots its just that one mans ceiling is another mans floor.
I come on here to be called an idiot just so the Eriksen lovers don't have it all their own way it is not a clear argument unlike when you talk about Modric Bale. Messi. Ronaldo who are class and able to take control in a game even if the rest of their team are below them.
When the going gets tough the tough get going unlike Eriksen when the going gets tough Eriksen goes missing as has been shown in the last few months.

Quite frankly, you’re the idiot if you’re happy with his recent performances (see how that goes?). I see his teammates passing less to him, I see no production from him, I see him being in the center of the park & the defense ignoring him & playing passes over his head to people farther forward - where, yes, the ball is often lost to us, but apparently his teammates feel no other choice!
What he has been to us in the past is largely irrelevant to the current & the future!
You tell me you are confident he’ll produce v Liverpool & Man City. Off of recent form, I am not!
If he, once again, has 0 goals & assists, who will be the idiot?

People here denigrating Eriksen just to soften the blow of his departure, should it transpire, like "I never fancied her anyway, that was you". Somewhere there is a parallel SC where everyone is thoughtful and objective.
