Bale was not afraid of a tackle ; Ginola apart from the Barnsley goal and the odd other goal was a waste of space as a team player I would have picked Sinton over him because his all round game was far more useful to the team as a whole at that time .
Hoddle did not shirk a tackle thats why the Liverpool players at that time used to kick him all the time.
It is amazing how the odd fantastic play seems to outweigh the player that every game gives 100%.
As for Ginola at the time he was playing a hell of a lot of goals conceded were down his side of the pitch whilst he would be waving his hands in the air blaming everyone else when he lost the ball Sinton would be tracking back to help the full back thus making us more sound .
Its a case of one mans ceiling is another mans floor and why can't you see its my opinion I am not stating fact.
I repeat Hoddle ; Bale ;were team players in my eyes Ginola played for Ginola in my eyes.
It is only an opinion as in Ericsen is to me a fantastic player when on it .
Far to often for me he is off the pace.
Some on here are like children with shiny toys when shown the Superstars like Ginola and are over impressed by the occasional goal the shine wears of when you get to the week in week out grit that is needed to succeed in the premiership.
If I have misspelt anything I apologise and I repeat it is just my opinion and the lovers of the super players are probably right I prefer to be pragmatic .
Sinton over Ginola? You’ve gone full rupstoh.

Well we just signed young Matty Etherington, so even though I think Ginola is superb if he isn't pulling his weight defensively then I suspect matty will be breathing down his neck.

Only the Eriksen thread can go from mass bashing to Andy Sinton over Ginola. It's like watching the match thread all over again blaming Eriksen when he's not even on the ball. Guess we need a FFSEriksen meme!

Yet again another horrendous performance from this bloke. I’ve actually got to thinking that he has come to the end of his career as he started so early. Has been really poor for some time.

He really needs to take a long hard look at himself. This is not knee jerk. He could easily find hinself dropped for Arsenal.

That's the worst 90mins I've seen from him and that's come after a bad run of form.

If Poch was paying attention to his performances he'd have dropped him in November

Totally shocking again from Eriksen - When he doesn't turn up (more often than not lately), we have Zero creativity, nothing, nada! I wouldn't shed a tear if he goes and his game continues like this.

He was so so poor. Created nothing, lost the ball and hid for much of the game. I await the running stats that someone will provide to show his commitment etc etc.

The annoying thing is, we rely on him turning up.

I question Poch’s ability to find attacking players which could be a massive issue if that’s the case.

Kane, Eriksen and Dele were all here when he turned up. I wouldn’t be massively shocked to see Sissoko pushed higher when Eriksen goes for example!

We've seen that before and its nightmare fuel.

It's hard to gauge what we're like without him though because Poch will never drop him
