I think on purely consistency I would plump for Rose, Wanyama or Vertonghen. I love Eriksen but he certainly hasn't been as consistent as those three.

People have very short memories, need to look back to see how good Rose was playing before he was injured, his performances were unbelievable and he was by far our best player !

But he's been out 11 games since then.

Eriksen didn't clock on until Xmas otherwise would have voted for him.
Verts has emerged from Toby's shadow increasingly
Rose but for absence.
3 Season wonder Harry K must be close..
Toby almost as reliable as ever.
Wanyama settled in nicely and does what it says on the tin (Beware)).
Dembele recapturing his form and potential
Dier but a little Jack of all trades.

Voted for Dele.
His stats and the unexpectedness of his performances
makes him our Wild Card, Joker and Ace all in one.

I think for me it's probably between Eriksen, Wanyama and Verts - with high praise for Alli and Kane. It's bloody hard to pick just one player but I think that because of the impact he has had in what is his first season for us is absolutely remarkable so I think Wanyama just about shades it.

By far the hardest year to pick a player I can remember. Could of been Rose if not injured, Kane if not injured, Alli or Wanyama but I went with Eriksen he's been really good this year.

This is tough. The team has done so well this season. Has there ever been a better Tottenham Hotspur team?

Dele Alli is probably my player of the season - but Wanyama runs him close. Dele has continued his progress and been more controlled in what he does on the field. And he's scored a ton of goals. Wanyama has been so consistent and offered all that could be expected of a defensive midfielder. What an acquisition!

So far it has to be Dele for me.

The next few games will tell all...

It has to be Dele Alli for me.

Bear in mind he is our highest goalscorer in the league if you take away penalties. Yup, even more than Kane.

And this coming from an advanced midfield role, not as a main striker.

True, goals alone should not be the yardstick but surely, surely immense recognition is imperative if its from a midfielder.

Dele Alli for me.

He has 16 non-pen goals, as does Kane. Terrific achievement for an AM.

He has played around 25% more minutes though...

I've gone for Eriksen, as in our terrific run in the second half of the season, he has been the most consistent and influential player.

Up until then I think Rose was the best though.

Special mentions to Kane, Verts, Alli and Wanyama.

A bit surprised that so many have Eriksen as POTY. Without starting a riot, I thought Eriksen was a little bit shit for the first part of this season...I cant even remember when he even scored from a free kick for us this season, if at all. He was very sloppy earlier in the season and seems to have improved gradually as the seasons gone on, rather than be consistently on form and good like Wanyama, Dele or Kane for example. Even Kane had dips in the season but he's still managed to get us goals consistently throughout the season. Up until November Eriksen had only scored 2 goals against Gilingham in the cup, and only 3 assists - 2 in the game against Stoke. He was definitely quiet in the 1st part of the season and I recall quite a few games earlier in the season where his distribution was sloppy and his determination was clearly lacking.

I can't choose just one, it would be unfair on every other player in our squad.

There have been some stand out performances from each and every player on occasion, but as a collective we have been a true force, and that's what matters most too me.

I think an honorable mention should go out to all our fans who travel to the stadium and away with our squad, my God you guys brought the ruckus this season. :notworthy:

Ya'll are the real MVP's.

Big Vic for me. Had doubts when first rumoured to be heading to us, but what a signing. Just what we needed to beef up our MF and add abit more grit after last years collapse

Wasn't the entire team a bit shit in the first part of the season? I think Eriksen gets quite a lot of the blame for that first two months for some reason. Many were below average, including Dele as far as I remember.. But fair enough, Eriksen wasn't good in the first two months and when Eriksen isn't playing well then we are usually struggling - but doesn't that paint a picture of his importance..?

Would have been Rose had he not got injured. I think we've got 4 world class players at our club. Toby, Kane, Hugo and Rose(name a better wing back, see, you can't).

Alli, Eriksen, Verts are almost in that bracket, bit more consistency is all that's needed.

But player of the season... Probably Mr Tottenham himself. Harry Kane. He's so good I think we're almost taking him for granted these days.

I voted for Dele. He has scored some big-time goals in big games for us. He had the opener against city and won the pen. The brace against Chelsea at home, and the second equalizer in the FA semi. He shows up for the big games.
