Boxing day.
Yeah Norwich always reminds me of Christmas time. We used to get Southampton a lot around that time too.
used to be Ipswich around Xmas
No trains on Boxing Day so they schedule (non-derby) fixtures among between teams that are close geographically. So it's Norwich when they're in the PL, Brighton or Southampton (maybe Bournemouth) when Norwich are in the Championship. I don't think we'll be seeing Ipshit for a while...

Be Newcastle away again!

I’d rather a tough start, squad would know they have to be bang on it from the off!

Home game v West Ham so we’ll actually take it serious for a change.

Watching that comp makes me wonder why our players don't seem to shoot much from distance anymore, some of those balls are gonna end up in the net boys, have a crack!

Wasn't Wanyama's Rocket Shot against Liverpool? Shoulda done a few of those in the final....
Because they can't. I can't think of one player who is consistently good at scoring long distance shots from open play

If there is any justice in this world, we well get Liverpool at home and knock the stupid grins off the arrogant scousers who are really, really getting under my skin. Your team is nowhere near the standard of the top Europen clubs you thick dickheads and you will find out next season when all those predictions by you and gormless pundits of future glory for you doesn't happen.

When's the last time we played at home on the first game of the season?

Also we've played Newcastle away 3 opening games of the last 8 seasons!

Hoping for Southampton, Bournemouth, Watford etc at home for a chance to build momentum before we hit a tough team.

It will be away again I suspect. Something like 8 out of the last 30 have been at home. It’s on SC somewhere as I remember debating it before.

Obviously that means arsenal have been at home on the first day of each season that many more times than us.
