No sure how to embed a YouTube video but would love to hear the team coming out to "We Will Rock You" by Queen. Imagine 62k fans rocking to that!

Finn Balor's could be an option, too. 62000 people all raising their arms like his entrance.
He is a Spurs fan and has been featured on our YouTube channel a few times, so the links are there. The Spurs kop in unison to that would be too sweet! :sneaky:

McNamara’s Band. Always thought anything else was just corny to be honest. McNamara’s Band is our traditional walkout song, time to take it off the undercard spot and stick it back in its rightful place.

Love some of these ideas....but to be honest, when the intro music finishes and the players saunter out onto the pitch, stand around, shake hands etc I think the whole thing is a bit of an anti climax no matter what music is played. That gap from the music ending to the match starting is just a bit of a lull.

The only thing way to beat it is have the crowd in full voice during that gap right up until....and continuing over kick off and throughout the first few minutes. That would be an atmosphere.

I'm so with you on this, since I'm used to being in the middle of this every other weekend:

So for me the only alternatives are McNamara's band ( a bit too long for some people to learn?) or Oh when the spurs go marching in...or my signature (once we're back at WHL).

It's a bloody game of football, in England, with a predominantly middle age to oap demographic. Not fooking NFL, or wrestling, or NASCAR or some other over the top, American bollocks. You aren't getting close to 60k grumbly spurs fans going "thunder!" or stamping their feet in freezing grey drizzle. Half of them are at the bar still when that awful " ready or not" shite starts up.

It’s very cringeworthy!

Given that some of the suggestions are starting to get fucking ridiculous (yes even worse than my cheese one) how about we use either of these, I prefer the second one.

The thing is, imho, players don’t get pumped up by piped in music whether you think it is cringey (as I do with DoF) or not. They get pumped up by the crowds reaction to it. DoF may give Star Wars fans goosebumps but for those of us that have never seen it, it just sounds like overly dramatic music score. It does nothing to pump up the crowd that wouldn’t happen with the players coming out to any familiar music. You can’t sing to it, can’t clap to it....it’s just music.

Music that engages the crowd, on the other hand, pumps up the crowd and the players can feed on that energy. For example, a kind of cheesy oldie like Glad All Over really gets Palace fans going....they sing it, they stomp and clap to it. It gets them fired up and the players surely feed off of that energy (And as an aside, it should be spurs as the Dave Clark Five were all Spurs supporters from Tottenham). So I don’t mean to upset all of you DoF fans. it’s just not good walk in music based on the criteria I believe makes for a good walk in song. It is apparently a great movie soundtrack music for the scene it accompanies but it does nothing to get the crowd going that the players coming out wouldn’t do already.

I think thunder would be a bit over the top but that there must be something out there in the history of rock music that would work. It would be even better if it had a Tottenham connection. What else is the Dave Clark Five known for? (Bit before my time).

While I’m sympathetic to your argument, I would point out that glory glory; oh when the Spurs; and he’s one of our own...are all American songs.

I have to admit to secretly envying Liverpool and West Ham having songs that really unite the crowd. 'You'll never walk alone' is a masterpiece.
