Can you imagine the entire 60,000 stadium stamping their feet and clapping to "We will rock you"

That would be something

All seriousness (kidding) (not kidding) I'd be all for having a different pro wrestler entrance song each home game. Otherwise just go with Taker's entrance.

The opposition should come out first on the pitch before the lights go out and the gong sounds. Then our starting 11 all come out in lillywhite trench coats and hats.

Because nothing says "American Western" like a modern stadium in London?

Uhm ok. I guess nothing says light saber fights in space like a football stadium in London then. Not that it fucking matters in what context the music was made or for what it was made anyway.

Ecstacy of Gold is mutliple orders of magnitude more epic than Duel of The Fates

Sorry to be a pedant but, "The Good, the Bad and The Ugly" is more of a spaghetti western. Set in America but made in Europe - Italian production. Directed by Sergio Leone, music by Ennio Morricone. ☺️

And besides, that piece of music was used as an intro to last year's world cup final, no less, so you can't say it's inappropriate to either football or modern stadia ?

Perhaps Levy is thinking of songs that subliminally advertise the cheese room. You know, like "Knowing Brie, Knowing You" by Abba or "I Love Roquefort and Roll" by Joan Jett & the Blackhearts :cautious:

Indeed.

It has nothing to do with Heavy Metal music either, but arguably the most successful metal band of all time has it as their intro music.

Back when the the likes of Nethercott, Ramon Vega and the ginger Pele were in our defence I remember suggesting to my Dad this should be our intro music :D.
You mean the same Ramon Vega who is running for UEFA presidency

Yep, the same one. Not sure what his skills as a lawyer and diplomat have to do with his skills as a CB though.

Our general defending from the mid 90’s until Jol’s time was reminiscent of a circus.

After long consideration, it has to be Thunderstruck.

.

Sorry, I forgot to mention if anyone has no idea what Thunderstruck is (and there can't be many of you) you might want to check this video out and imagine 60,000 people screaming "THUNDER!" as the players enter the field.

(sorry about the stupid ad at the beginning)

I rest my case m'lud.

As much as I like that song, the idea of Spurs fans doing this is cringeworthy.

Love some of these ideas....anything AC/DC is hard to fault ......but to be honest, when the intro music finishes and the players saunter out onto the pitch, stand around, shake hands etc I think the whole thing is a bit of an anti climax no matter what music is played. That gap from the music ending to the match starting is just a bit of a lull.

The only thing way to beat it is have the crowd in full voice during that gap right up until....and continuing over kick off and throughout the first few minutes. That would be an atmosphere.
