For transfers yes, but I thought the rules were different for loans? Did they change the rules for that this year?
Don't know about that I thought it was always the case although we may have loaned out to the lower divisions as they have, or used to have, a later window.

I think you can only now sign players who are out of contract (Llorente). That is until January. You still have to comply with the home grown requirements.

Insane option. He would need to rip everythin apart at Bayern and even then I would question the purchase for a then 28-year old.

Yeah no way is he worth anything like that. It was always a weird transfer to begin with, they massively overpaid.

Can't see Bayern taking that option up, they don't strike me as the sort of team that can afford that sort of fee. They are probably just waiting to get Werner on a free next season and then pick up a few other players from rivals on the cheap.

Why wouldn't the afford it? They are the 4th richest team in the world - of course they can afford it. Are they willing to pay up? Maybe not. If he scores 25 goals etc. - they will.

Bayern probably already know they will put all their eggs in the Havertz, Sane and Werner basket.

I can just hope for them by then Salihamdizic (and Hoeness) are no longer in charge of transfers. He is terrible and Uli lost it.

Makes a lot of sense. Although if we’re really going to compete for the league I think we need to get 2 players in on that scale/level.

I just don’t think Coutinho was or is the player to do that.

Money talks for him, simple as that.

Hats off to him that he still thinks he's worth that much despite his stuttered performance at Barca though.
