As much as I want Neto, the guy just cant stay fit. I hope we go all in on Williams now.

Id love Bakayoko but I feel he needs another season where he is to develop first.

The problem with that is I can see Bakayoko going to a Dortmund/Napoli/Leipzig/Brighton etc.. and tearing it up.

He would then be out of our price range just like Kvaratskhelia.

No one should be out of our price range.
They should be if we want to remain a sensibly run and sustainable club.
I'm not against spending big on the right player but to be honest, it's not going to happen much anymore, from any club.
I think Chelsea's recent splurge will be the last we've seen of one club spunking 100's of millions over one or even two windows. The landscape appears to have finally changed.

I struggle to see us spending 100m on one player and people like Osimhen and the like will cost more than that.
To be honest, our recent signings have taught us that with decent scouting, we really don't have to spend vast amounts to get quality.

What I mean is that we can/should be paying on par with best we aren’t a poor relation anymore

That’s really worrying. 2 bad hamstring injuries (in different legs) in the same season.

That concerns me more than the injuries he’d had previously.

Yeah agree, the two hamstrings are seriously concerning. I know they are not the same leg but still. Tbh I’m not sure who is going to buy him for the amount they would want at this point.

Fourth season in a row he won't complete 20 league games. Shouldn't even be considered
3rd. And the domestic cups have him over 20 this season. But you are still spot on. Will have played 110 in the PL out of a possible 190 once this season is over. Of those 80 missed games, 64 have been in the last 3 years. We should stay far away. Shouldn’t be on any list we look at.

Anyone know if he's going to miss the Euros?

Be interesting to see if anyone takes the risk and goes in for him with his injuries. Ether way I can't imagine Wolves will get the price they would want for him.

No idea on the accuracy but suggestions of being out until late May. If that's enough time to get him back to match fitness for the Euros is anyone's guess.

I don't think teams will be breaking the bank for him. Given his injuries and other targets possible availability I can't see teams breaking the bank for him.

To answer my own question he’s already back in training and doing ball work as of last week.

I don’t really see any problems with players that are so-called “injury ridden”; at Spurs we have an EXCELLENT track record of getting players super fit and to keep them away from and out out of the sickbay and/or physio treatment rooms! 🙄

I guess we could swap netos 20 games for sessegnon and Soloman and it would still be an improvement 😂😂

POK saying we can probably scrub this one off the list due to his injuries.

Might just be his opinion but no real surprises there if true.

If he had a shorter contract and Wolves wanted to sell at a cut rate then you might take a risk.

But such a high fee on an injury prone player is just not worth the risk.

I read a report a week or so ago that his price was more around the 40-50 mil range due to his injuries and Wolves need to sell but no idea how accurate that will be. Still a lot.

There’s talk that he will be in contention for sub place for the weekend and i really hope he can stay fit for the euros. I really rate him as a player and I hope for his sake injuries don’t destroy his career but ether way for us it’s a massive risk for the money unfortunately.
