As I’m sure most do,I often sit and analyse the squad especially after a defeat and wonder where we could improve. Honestly I’m confused. As a group of 4 well 5 with KWP it’s probably the best in the PL. However I feel we lost something that made us a very good team and that’s walker/Rose pace. It gave us another dynamic going forward and defending. So far Rose doesn’t look the same player to me,will that pace come back who knows. Will he still even be here in February who knows.So as things stand are you happy with our options or do we need to take a bit of a gamble maybe sell a couple and hope we can still upgrade.
Trippier- just can’t make up my mind,yes his delivery is great but he lacks pace and power and I’d have walker back all day long
Aurier- Jury still out. Shown flashes of being very good but also flashes of madness. A big disappointment for me is,he is nowhere near as quick as I thought he would be.
Davies- Mr reliable barely puts a foot wrong. Big bonus can play as a CB as well. But again lacks real dynamism, for me a fantastic back up squad option.
Rose- as above ,will that pace return? Cash in now?
KWP- could better than all of them imo. Has a a great blend for a full back.
Some may say you’re being crazy we have great options. But for me right now they are all very good without being top draw or special. The dream would be to find a young full back on the same level as Sanchez looks to be at CB. Maybe that’s sessegnon?
