The sight of Harry Kane limping down the tunnel at Bournemouth provoked some panic among already-pessimistic England fans, with the centre-forward’s ankle injury coming so close to the World Cup.

Top 4 is still very realistic. We just can't lose to Chelsea. Winning the FA cup is very realistic with or without Harry but it'll probably be with him anyway so no need to panic.

I re-watched the cup semi against Chelsea last season and our bench that day was:

Pau Lopez
Janssen
Nkoudou
Sissoko
Walker
Davies
Wimmer

Now granted Rose, Lamela and Winks were hurt, it's still shocking looking at those options especially when you realise he bought on Nkoudo to try and rescue the match particularly compared to who Chelsea had on their bench.

Now we could have the same 3 hurt and still have a bench of:

Vorm
Alderweireld
Lucas
Sissoko
Aurier
Wanyama
Llorente

That's the major difference between this season and last, Poch has more players he can call upon to change the match.

England fans shouldn't be putting their faith in Harry or any of our spurs contingent.

Our national team is pathetic and we'll go out in the group stages, like usual, with lame pathetic performances that'll incur the wrath of the media and the public.
The claims?
No heart!
No passion!
They don't deserve to wear the shirt!
Boys, not men!
Over paid!
Club more important than country!

And that's just the daily fail no doubt.

The truth is, England haven't had a manager capable getting a decent performance out of a team at a tournament since Venables in Euro 96. 22 years ago.

I've lost interest as a fan and probably won't make efforts to watch any games that interfere with my normal day.

Annoyed me when the commentator lost it about us putting Ali on yesterday.

I think that we do have a squad issue when Harry gets injured. He means so much more to this team than just scoring goals and i feel we do need a better, younger, hungrier backup than Llorente.

I think we could risk relying on Son to occupy the 2nd choice role and either Llorente as 3rd or a young striker from the scademy

This is over optimistic. We still have a small squad. Yes Son has done a great job filling in for Kane but let's not pretend he is as good. He did well against Bournemouth and Swansea but Kane has a good record against Chelski and the scum. I hoped Llorente would fix this but so far Poch doesn't seem to trust him.

I think we need Harry to win the cup. We might have him back but without him we're not quite as strong. That's not me being harsh on the rest, just saying how good Kane is.

Definitely, he put the shits up the Utd defenders last time.

Which striker is as good as Kane and would sit on the bench?
