He'd legitimately be a good choice for them. Was unlucky not to win the league with Liverpool. Or would United never hire an ex Pool manager?

Good call.

It is a hushed up fact that Sir Matt Busby played 122 times for Liverpool - it would have been more but for WW2.

He's not even in the same league as Poch as a manager. Look at how much better they've been under Klopp.

I think Solskjaer will do pretty well though so hopefully they'll hire him full time in Summer.

I'm surprised Rafa isn't more strongly linked.
because Poch is with spurs and Spurs have always come thru for United or until recently.. the pecking order argument... Rafa's outside of that really.. with Poch, they can emulate Tottenham's way and unlimitedly became more successful as they got more walla

it's quite devastating for Tottenham

Or the constant linking of him to Utd in the media has meant loads of people keep putting money on Poch so the bookies have shortened the odds to make it less attractive to bet on him. They need people to bet on other managers

Hopefully they'll now realise that Solskjaer is the new messiah and they can all crawl back under their rocks.

Solskjaer fav with most firms now

If he keeps doing well then they'd be foolish not to keep him. Guy clearly loves the club, understands completely the kind of football their fans want to see and has the ear of their greatest ever manager to call on if he ever needs pointers.

Plus he’s a great cover for Mike Phelan, the man who’s actually calling the shots imo.

They would also need a decent director of football to steer the club in the right direction.

They've not had a 'master strategy' for years now.

Hard to say. Usually there is a bit of a win streak when a new manager arrives but that doesn't last.
