A revised stadium plan document received as 24th April 2014 has been uploading to the planning services section of the Haringey Council website.

Read the full article at The Cockerel Crows

Full details of the document can be read here

The link to the online documents above doesn't work.

The link in 'The Cockerel Crows' article is this one and it does work:

http://www.planningservices.haringey.gov.uk/portal/servlets/ApplicationSearchServlet?PKID=273402

That link doesn't go to a new stadium design and there are no 'plans' listed there, although there is a file entitled 'Appendix 2 - Stadium Images.pdf', which refuses to open on my PC running Firefox.

This planning application is dated 24 April and does not comprise a revised stadium design. It's an application for the council to approve some of the details that were reserved for later approval in the original planning application. There are always 20 to 50 of these in any major planning application, covering choices of specific materials, methods for investigating potential contamination and dealing with it, acoustic studies, tree protection, etc., etc.

This one is about condition no. 37, 'Ground Condition Remediation', which basically covers investigating any ground contamination, which is routine in London, and rendering it safe using the approved methods.

There are also other details regarding below-ground drainage and ecological management. This is exactly what one would expect them to be doing now, if they are putting this out to tender and want to start on site with the original scheme, or a lightly-amended version of it.

Unless there are some actual plans in the document that I cannot open, there's nothing about a redesign here.

EDIT: The link above in my post has now stopped working, but I suspect that the problem is with Haringey's website. It worked a few minutes ago.

Also the article describes Preconstruct as 'a different architect to KSS who originally mocked up the original design and Populous who were rumoured to also be involved.'

Preconstruct is not a firm of architects. They create architectural visualisations and 3D representations. If their images were created in 2012, then they would have been based on the KSS design.

Thanks for the info, David. I have to admit that I'm about as impatient waiting for the new stadium as a six-year-old waiting for Christmas to arrive - and it's been a really long wait already with a vast number of approvals, delays and changes.

Working for me, and i can open the .pdf of the images as well - they're basically all higher resolution, more finely tuned versions of the pics we've seen already - possibly a few changes in layout to the surrounding area, but that's going to change every fifteen minutes right up until it's almost finished anyway.

I would screen shot them and put them here, but don't know if that'd be appreciated by the club or whoever owns the images in the pdf...

any mods advise?

edit: one of the pics has a fan wearing a Modric shirt, to give an idea of when these were put together.

One of the differences in pictures appears to be the giving way of the 'KOP' end! One has tiers and the other has the 'KOP' style.

I don't know if I'm looking at the right pictures but it all looks like old pictures to me. The large display in the picture of inside the stadium displays a picture of Modric, Bale and Walker... Kind of sets a date on when the art was created.

Has anyone spotted any black people in the crowds in the pictures?

Well whoever it is on SC who runs TheCockerelCrows has obviously seen your comment as he's transposed it quite literally into the article - I did think that sentence seemed out of place in the rest of the writing style.

At least he's trying to stay correct I suppose.

The Haringey Independent newspaper contacted the club and they confirmed that the kop end stays. Article is here:

Yes, it was a problem with the Haringey website and they sorted it out after a half hour or so.

...one of the pics has a fan wearing a Modric shirt, to give an idea of when these were put together.

And another has Bale wearing no. 3...

I e-mailed him about that and other things and he said he'd use my comments. We've been e-mailing back and forth on and off today. Seems like a nice chap, named Scott.

I just want to see the building work start. Seems like it's taking forever but perhaps that's my impatience rather than any real delay.

I sincerely hope it's 60k plus capacity.
Nothing in the latest slew of articles around capacity, but previously (last couple of months) there was an article suggesting 58,000 all-seater. Obviously, were safe standing to be introduced then that number could be increased further still, although there'd no doubt be restrictions due to transport capacity and ground safety.

Don't forget to take into consideration the "Emirates variable" - the rule that states concert goers and fans of specific clubs are safe when on the top tier, but certain clubs fans are not. I don't know the formula for it, or the science behind it, but this has to surely be taken into consideration?
