It looks like for this season according to the wording below if you have a concession season ticket if you do manage to sell on the exchange you get the full Adult amount credited to your account , easy way to double your money ?

Q. I have a Season Ticket at a concessionary price. Can I use the Ticket Exchange service?
A. Yes. Season Ticket holders who pay a reduced concession price will be able to list their seat for resale. These seats will be listed for sale at the prevailing Adult price for that area and this amount will be credited back to the seller once the seat is sold. All seats listed on Ticket Exchange will be sold at the Adult rate. Concessions prices will not apply to any tickets sold via Ticket Exchange. The Club reserves the right to review the process at the end of the season and communicate any adjustments to the process accordingly.
Sounds like also no kids' prices. That's a shame for some.

Will be thousands of empty seats tonight.

You might in theory be right, but you’re making it sound a bit dramatic. Last time I looked the exchange looked very similar to Huddersfield where we got 58.3k. Considering we are probably still about 2k below full capacity with bits and pieces. Also it’s 3 games in 7 days. I’d imagine a real attendance for Brighton at the emirates on a Tuesday night be about 55k.

I can confirm that this did not happen when my sons ticket got sold on TE. Got £30 back and I got £60 for mine.

Just in case somebody is lurking & missed it on the previous page....

Ticket offer - very short notice i know.

I've been given a free premium ticket for tonight's game so my ST seat is up for grabs. Face value is £55, but lets say I'll accept any donation (within reason you skinflints) to SC rather than give me money for it.

Assuming i can re-assign it to another member at such short notice I am willing to do so.

Seat is in Paxton Upper Block 517 Row 12.

I have just noticed how the players arrive. Through a tunnel(?) around the side of the pitch into a walkway???????????

Was a more discreet entrance not thought of?

I’m sure somebody has said this in the last 20 pages but does it not shock anybody that we don’t have a stadium sponsor yet? On one hand, our price continues to go up if we get top 4 once again and in final 4 of Europe but it still strikes me as odd that we haven’t sorted it out.

Not really to do with how successful we are. Sponsors are focusing more on social media as they think it gets more bang for their buck.

OK I’m probably a bit thick but having got to the ground early realised I could walk around three sides. Not seen that before in a stadium. So I walked around to the halfway line and saw how the rich live

There was a lot of talk about there being a lot of empty seats tonight but if there were it didn't notice.

There were. Loads in the East and North. Attendance 56,000 apparently.

I don’t blame people. There’s been a lot of games in a short space of time that were confrmed at fairly short notice compared to a normal season.

If that is so then the wording is incorrect.

It clearly states "this amount will be credited back to seller", it did sound very generous of the club to give the seller of a concession seat the full amount.

In any normal situation they would go to general sale. There must be a reason games aren’t going to general sale. Maybe they want everyone to renew membership for next season. Maybe they don’t quite want a full house yet still testing few things. Obviously if they were that bothered would be general sale.

I wonder if this level of frustration will always continue or if one day the fans will have full faith in the team. Tonight was just another example of how our crowd can get anxious and edgy. At 0-0 we're always in with a chance but I'd love if the fans really showed a bit more belief. I know they tried tonight but it still feels like the past is keeping our fans from really believing we'll score a winner. As much as the cheering helps push the players on, the moans and groans also have to make it harder for the players. We now have another 26k fans' frustration spilling onto the pitch when things aren't going for us. Maybe that will only really change if we win some trophies.

Still 4 wins from 4 and none conceded is a great start though. It's already feeling like we picked up from where we left off at WHL.

Why would they go on general sale?

The game was totally sold out pre game. The empty seats were simply ST holders not coming to the game. Any member could have got a ticket on the Ticket exchange this eve.

There were a few in the South not many but a few so I don't doubt that attendance figure but from my seat it didn't notice for some reason, I believe the dark seats help.

There were certainly blocks/rows of seats in the East Lower I could see. Not just for the halftime jolly either. Can’t see how it was sold out with these areas vacant.

I gave my ST seat to my dad for the game. Watching the game on TV sounded like we were at Wembley

Hopefully it's just a symptom of how the season's gone, playing at Wembley and a stack of injuries, so the residual negativity still lingers.

If we hit the ground running next season, with a fresh and healthy squad, then hopefully the belief will be there with our fans.
