Wasn’t able to sell my ticket on the exchange. Surprised? Not really as it’s a lunchtime kick off against a pony opponent live on TV but clearly there aren’t that many fans still desperate to go and see us play in the new stadium?!

Don’t think it helps by the club policy of only releasing tickets on the ticket exchange for members to buy. Guess there is a reason for this but not entirely sure what that is.

Club could have sold this out easily. Only available to members online. Then I was queueung at the ticket office to get a ticket printed. Some good tourist lads came up to us asking if there were tickets i checked online saw a fair few and literally as I said have a crack mate, the steward coes round saying no tickets for sale?! ?‍♂️

Tbh they didn't load a fair few tickets on membership cards so I think its just members to help reduce their admin at the mo. Some not very happy people yesterday..

Noticed yesterday that fans in the south stand started moving out around 8 minutes before half time and it was a steady stream after that until the whistle blew. Then when the game reStarted fans were returning to their seats fir another 10 minutes. So nearly 18 minutes fans moving out and then back again.

Is this because the bars and toilets just can’t handle that many people In Such a short period of time ?

It pissed me off having to keep standing up to let folk pass by .

In my block 453 the fans all stayed seated except for the odd moments when something exciting was happening near the goal. So the threat of being banned seems to have worked.

Fair few empties today. I'm in block 420 we were not full. Huddersfield didn't sell out and the top tier of the east corporate was, c50% full. Not sure what is causing the empties in the home end, ST holders not turning up or the ticketing system not working properly. Seems poor that we cant fill home seats in our new home
Also in 420 and surprised how many spaces.
Row behind us had about 10 spare seats in a row where group of deaf people had been first two games.
Corporates were very quiet today, quiet a few spaces there too which is surprising as would have thought easy sell for businesses.

What we still need to do is synchronise the stand chants. The Paxton chant is back since been at new ground and its getting better with more joining in, but we are chanting at same time as Shelf.
Somehow we need it to go round all 3 and then just leave the quiet guys in the West.

I guess it's just another way to make paying for membership seem worthwhile. Given that it's so hard now even for members to get tickets the ordinary way unless they're in the top few thousand in terms of loyalty points (100k+ members and only around 7k seats left per game after ST holders, away allocation, corporate is taken into account)

if the exchange went on general sale as well it would make it pretty much pointless paying for membership unless you were in the top 5 or 6 k in terms of LPs

I think a happy compromise would be to allow non members access to the ticket exchange for the final 24 or 48 hours before a game. That way members get priority over what comes up and any dregs left over can get swept up by the public.

Although it doesn’t cost the club in terms of lost ticket sales by sold seats being empty, they are losing out on food/drink/merch sales that these potential ticket buyers would bring. Plus for vanity surely the club would like to publish the highest poss attendeances -specially while there is so much focus on the place at the moment.

Where abouts are you? I was talking to someone yesterday his son had a last minute emergency on Friday so put his ticket on the exchange and it went. He is in the South stand on the curve so maybe there's a hierachy of preference for them.

West upper. ?

I’m sorry but anyone who says the breakfast pie was good has very low standards! However, the chicken tikka pie is very good

Still a few teething problems with the bottoms up beer but at least they didn’t run out today in my block (423). Also sampled the sausage roll at 3 quid which I was pleasantly surprised with. The prices are pretty reasonable (for London) which is a plus.

It is difficult though to fit in a drink and grub at half time. You either leave the first half early or arrive late back for the 2nd. I like to watch the end of both halves so usually end up getting back to my seat around 51/52 mins.

Finally.. I absolutely love the stadium from seats to pitch. Love my seat and will start joining in on the Paxton Tottenham chant next game.

They are learning mate. I think everything was based of the numbers from Wembley.

Come start of next season you’d think everything will be spot on

One of our lads went to the bar 4mins before half time.. to get a beer it was ready and waiting for us at half time :) That was in the Southstand. I do think on another note we need to encourage more scarfs etc to be held up by that stand.

Agreed. Flags too. Think I was the only one with one at City in the south. Nice to see some appearing hung up on railings etc when sat in the north v Huddersfield but would be great to have more, similar to Dortmund Liverpool etc.

Was in North v Huddersfield and atmosphere wasn't great as most sat and quite a few there for a "day out" let alone owning a scarf to wave around which I think is part of the problem

Just a question. I tend to join in the Paxton chant etc but actually think that kind of chanting is rather pointless as I am sure it does nothing to inspire the team. The only purpose I guess is to make sure we don’t have a deathly hush. Maybe the club should commission some songs and chants. Got to be better than we are the “...”

What row does the standing go up to in the South? Presumably if I want to stand I'll have to go south lower rather than south north?

Also RE illegal standing, palace "ultras" seem to be just standing, as were Huddersfield yesterday

Think it's good to have an identity in the stadium and would much prefer to chant this than 'stand up if you hate A*****l' - don't even want to say the word, never mind giving credence that they exist

if the seats behind where previously occupied by deaf people then those seats will not ever go on sale to any members unless they are disabled. a very good chance they where sold the previous 2 matches as they very special moments.

corporate I would kind of understand being under used on an early KO on a Saturday. most corporate are expected to be parked up 2 hours before KO, latest 1 hour before but with road closures they are expected 2 before. most corporate are a 9-5 workers so with travelling, picking up staff/clients I'd expect many would prefer a lye in or family time, especially if they have been out the night before

From my experience in South Upper, although I didn't go to the Huddersfield game so they may have been more strict, the closer you are to the steps and therefore the stewards, the more likely you are to be sitting, because it is easier for them to communicate with you and threaten you etc. The people towards the middle and end of the row seemed to be standing as the stewards couldn't get their message across that far.

Agree also isn’t it wonderful not to see the idiots selling the half and half scarfs and no ticket touts

Oi! There's a few of us in West Block 101 making some noise (presumably we're all exiles from elsewhere as a result of the phasing process).
