Advertising boards. Pitch higher so people can see the pitch. Slope so tv and crowd can see the boards.

Is this fact or your theory? I can't see how a slope can alter the viewing of an advertising board so much so that the layout is effected by it.

It'll also be interesting to see how players warm up. Does the slope even out at the low/ high points of the slope? As I said I love the new place I just don't get the slope and I'd be amazed if advertising boards are the reason. Possibly the pitch being higher for people to feel closer but I'm not entirely convinced

Does anyone know if there were any comments from the visiting team or visiting fans about the stadium?

It seems to be consensus, we are not the only stadium to have a slope (old trafford for example) and that seems the reason given.

The gradient is hardly anything apart from the park lane because the stand is nearer. Warming up etc... probably wont be on the slope there is a gap between the hoardings and fans.

I live in South Shields and I hadn’t been to the lane in many years. How likely am I to get tickets for a our new home? Is the expectation it’ll be a sell out once season ticket holders and members have their spots?
Why not become a member? If you join an official Supporters Club too, you should have no problem getting the occasional ticket. I know there's a Yorkshire Spurs which may be you're nearest.

I love the new stadium, I really do but I just can't figure out why the levels aren't just raised so they are the same level as the rest of the pitch. It may not make a difference but does anyone know why this has been done? There must be reasoning behind it so anyone who can offer insight it would be great to know

Édit: i know this as a fact about old Trafford and that the ground man at the old WHL regretted not having a similar arrangement in 2011.

The BBC seem impressed with the stadium...

Except they get the cost wrong in the first sentence. The whole development project is a billion quid, not just the stadium. It annoys me them and every single journalist gets it wrong.

Love reading the jealous comments by other team’s fans. If you can’t be impressed by it then there’s something pretty wrong with their lives. Either that or they are just lying to themselves.

It will be a great shame if the European nights are restricted to ‘alcohol free’. The whole concept would be like the beer (diluted), and I reckon some fans will migrate to the local pubs. Any news on that?

Next thing - Levyrestaurants is part of Compass Group - one of the 2 major food and hospitality suppliers in the UK. Their other brands include Keith Prowse Hospitality, Leith’s (Pru), Payne & Gunter and many, many more. They are geared for this sort of stuff. I worked doing marketing material for them.

Well worth looking into joining a supporters club. I'm a member of the Kernow Spurs group (Cornwall) and normally go up twice a year. Think clubs are given 10 games to go to (one away) and its a good way to socialise and go to games. In reality the group goes to more than that as well often see emails saying anyone fancy this game. (Guess whoever runs the group can apply for more than 4 tickets?)

However, with the stadium being new demand for tickets will be high until the end of the season and probably first half of next season.
Had an email saying that we would have been normally allowed 20 tickets for us, but its been restricted to 10 for the time being as they have been oversubscribed from other supporter groups.

That whole alcohol-free malarkey was a load of bollocks, considering you could buy alcohol in club wembley

Going to the legends match on Saturday - is it physical ticket or access card to get in?

The Mrs filed my card away somewhere so I will need to go on a bit of mission to find that if its card access...

I was able to use a print out to get into the test event yesterday for what it's worth
