Yep raising the standard, youve got it the wrong way round, a decade ago everyone was drinking crap where as now beer has moved on considerably. Have you tried logging in to your ticketing account and resending it? If you go into My Acount and then Account History, and click on the transaction, there is a resend button. I think it resends the confirmation and ticket.
