Official from Inter Milan:

MILAN - Inter Forever and Spurs Legends will meet in a friendly at 17:30 GMT on Saturday 30 March in one of the two test events to help officially open the new home of Tottenham Hotspur.

The New Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be open at a limited capacity of 45,000 compared to its full capacity of 62,000.

Inter Forever will be led by the project’s Director Francesco Toldo, and great players such as Javier Zanetti and Dejan Stankovic will feature along with many other Nerazzurri legends who have played in other matches of this type against the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Chelsea.

In addition to the stars already mentioned, the Inter Forever squad that will face Spurs Legends will include Mikael Silvestre, Nicola Ventola and – for the first time – Laurent Blanc, who won the European Championship and World Cup with France.

The full squads will be announced in the coming days, as will the ticket information.

On the stadium guide

Cheese Room There isn’t one! We’re not sure where this rumour came from – but it has amused us

It does appear that the Spurs app will be the key. Hopefully it works ok on matchday with loads of people connected to it. I'm interested to see what the WiFi quality will be like. Also a benefit that the app carries the ticket so as long as you have your phone you can get in. Along with support for Apple and Google pay as well you can get by with just a mobile phone. I'm all for it.

I wonder if there will be any coverage of the test events by Spurs - as in, livestreams of the games? Does anyone know if that's a possibility?

You'd hope Spurs TV would carry something, you'd think it would be on the OS.

I think it's distinctly possible, but won't be announced until they're certain that the events are easily sold out.

The Stadium Guide says WiFi coverage will allow 65% of matchday attendees to simultaneously stream live video.

Yeah but that doesn't really say a lot. I imagine more than 65% would be connected. Hopefully still enough speed to browse the web and use the app though.

The only time it's acceptable is if you need to keep up to date with another score that affects us like the final Champions League group game

They 100% should. Does my fucking head in the amount of people checking facebook/twitter during a game.

Sadly it's up with my other bugbear; the number of bastard betting adverts on TV these days especially before and during a game.

Even if we were able to put everybody's phone in "airport mode" for at least 40 mins of each half, I reckon our betting partner wouldn't be too thrilled at loosing customers for in-play betting etc and would ask for it to be turned back on.

I do think stadium policy should be if you see someone next to you on their mobile browsing social media, watching tv etc whilst the match is in play you're allowed (only one) to punch them in the ear give them a wet willy. Or something

Even better, text or sms a complaint. Maybe go online to a specially created micro site. Sorted (y)

Not really, you checking your phone can’t make any difference. You can see th score at halftime, you can then check after the final whistle.
