It will look fine once the scaffold is taken down. It just adds to that abstract design.

I hope they introduce some kind of go kart experience along the skywalk. Imagine flying around there Mario Kart style.

Except instead of gold coins, there's gold cocks scattered around?

Not sure how the aluminium panel can be on the inside of those temporary metal poles. Surely the panel will be installed after the poles are removed.
There have been pictures published from within the skywalk. The design picture shown above is not representative of finished visuals from the ground, (It is supposed to give an idea but...) it's a document which is intended for planning purposes to demonstrate the materials to be used so consideration can be given to the overall stadium design and how well it fits in with the local area and planning rules. For example, planners can require a build to change a specific material or finish.

Take a look at one of the skywalk pics and you can see that the inside wall (i.e. the actual stadium exterior) is directly clad with dark grey panels, then there is the skywalk which I'd guess is about 6ft wide which is then exposed rather than clad with glass or metal to give the feel of being outside rather than inside the stadium. It is a unique element which we will all be very used to seeing. I think it could look slightly better glazed, but that would detract from its entire purpose, so, it is what it is and I am used to it tbh.

For fuck sake at this point I’d hazard a guess that the FA have used heated balls to do their best to screw us over. Still bitter about when Sugar went legal on them and got our fa cup ban overturned and league points deduction revoked I see.
Yes that's exactly why Brighton drew Millwall in the 2018-19 FA Cup Quarter-Final.

Saw the expression £100/m2. Realised the virgins had infiltrated the thread. Fucked off to the This Thread Is Useless Without Pictures thread where the spirit of Hendrix and Led Zeppelin are dishing out lashings of vice

Touch base day really with your.

All I can really say is the testing is all positive so far. 10 days in and little to no faults. 10 more days to go and then if all is as is now, test events will be announced.

Got a look at the northern end too, Home and away. Not sure if it’s been open to visitors yet.

Same standards all the way round.

Slightly diff turnstiles. I’m not going to post pics but the are very similar to airport biometric passport gates. Wether they’ll hold the average rowdy Millwall fan I don’t know.

Saw the HP SERVER room which gave me a twitch being a techy. A nice touch is it’s in complete view of the GA area (like the beaver town equipment) so you can see what’s running the ship.

Some serious money has been spent in there. Again got pics but hesitant to post just yet. Gonna ask permission first.

Away section mood lighting is there so will be customised according to visiting teams colours. A nice touch here is that idea follows through to hospitality.
They will be shipping in drink and food from local area of visiting club to sell to them.
So Newcastle the area will be black and white and the bar will serve boddintons as well as fried mars bars

ok not fried mars bar but you get the drift.

Those food and drinks prices are locked in. They are obliged to retain 15k for as long as possible to help traffic flow so after game entertainment will be decent.

Expect a lot more activities in concourses after games including legends and mascots meeting and greeting GA guests.

It will basically become one big massive bar after games (I suppose a bit like what box park is for Wembley now).

A fair few new tit bits to add later and shots from inside the bowl since we have been starved recently.

Hi everyone.

Sure this has already been discussed and I'm probably being stupid but...

Do we know what the numbers are/represent on the side of the ground?

I've attached a picture..

Thanks

I have to admit that turning stadium into big pub before/after games is great idea. If the prices are reasonable (are they?) it's great way to integrate fans IMHO. It should also help creating atmosphere during games. I always sing like crazy when I'm drunk.

This might be a reason that a midweek evening game would be seen as a less desirable opening fixture because some of the "after show" stuff will be less feasible. I'm still of the opinion that we should get in as soon as possible, but a weekend afternoon game would definitely offer more chance for these sorts of extra events and having a proper piss up.

What are the cl rules for selling beer at the ground? Could the bars sell after the game?

Isn't Boddington's a Manc beer? It would be Newcy Broon for the Geordies.
