We've going to announce the first games the way they announce popes. Watch the colour of the smoke.'

:)

I haven't been able to see that many new posts of late on SSC. It keeps sending me back a week or so. Same for other people ?

"We shall now seek clarity in respect of building test schedules and test event dates and provide further information on these in the next two to three weeks.”

Wonder what's caused the delay on this? Yet another case where they fail to keep promises or to keep paying fans informed, and don't even offer an explanation.

Anyone know what the story is regarding naming rights? Is that still going to happen at some point or will it always remain the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium?

We won on Wednesday and we've seen a video of Harry ahead of schedule with his rehab so no need to tell us what is going on just yet!!!!!

It will most definitely happen at some point. There'a whole thread regarding it below this one, although if you want it summing up: They were close to signing off with HSBC last summer, which collapsed as the guy in charge of it on their side left. Now most probably gonna wait till the stadium opens and the stink of the delay has cleared before trying to get one over the line.

I think it is because we are so close to making a definitive announcement that, rather than say hang on just a little bit longer and we will probably have something righteous to tell you, they are waiting to dot the I's and cross the T's. It's happening, keep the faith.

Their database got corrupted or something which screws it up for non-registered guests. I registered and it's now working fine.

That explains it because I’ve had trouble as well, not sure I want to register though

I'm an American fan who's been going over since the mid-90s and have been a member for most of those. As such, I am quite familiar with the dynamics of securing a ticket for tough matches, i.e., NLDs and top CL fixtures, at the old Lane - which where I'm from has meant being up at 4:30am, online and/or phone-in-hand, and ready to go. It was a less-than-thought-through presumption that come the new stadium, getting a ticket for top fixtures would, if anything, be a bit easier. But now that I think about it, I'm presuming that they've upped the number of season tickets considerably, and I have no idea the extent to which the number of tickets going onsale to members will increase - if at all.
Months ago I purchased airfare to be over during the Huddersfield game (and potentially a CL quarterfineal - fingers crossed) in April. Now it appears possible that this could be among the first games at the new Lane and I'm mortified by the prospect of being over, and unable to secure a ticket. Does anyone know how the numbers break down? How many season tickets have been sold, and how many will remain for members?

Apologies if this has been address (and I'm sure it as) earlier in the thread, and thanks in advance.

I think it's in the region of 40k-45k season tickets from what I remember.

Thanks for that, Bobbins; but I guess I didn't communicate the extent of my ignorance. I must concede that I don't know how many season tickets were sold at the old Lane, either. So I guess I've asked the wrong question.

The upshot is: how many more tickets at the new stadium will be going on sale to non-season-ticket holding members then did so at the old one?

Sorry. I not the articulatest.
