So if we know now in early September that the sprinkler system isn't working why on earth would it take six months to get it working and what's more how would we know it would take six months to get it working? Would it even take that long to install an entirely new system? I doubt it.
I call BS.

Not ITK

A colleague has a friend who works on site. He said it wasn't going to be done by the Liverpool match. A week later, it was announced.
Yesterday, said colleague told me his friend told him March.

Seems odd that he mentioned a specific month and that is the same month talked about today.
I posted this news on SSC yesterday - it's entirely possible this station just read the one line I wrote lol.

However long it’s going to take for the stadium to be ready, I really hope the club will just let us know exactly what is going on as soon as possible, and cut the bullshit for once. This summer in general has made me question how much respect the Tottenham hierarchy actually has for its fanbase.

Hmmm... I hear the stadium won’t be open until 2043.

*sits back and waits for the BS machine to swing into action*

Can’t even play in NWHL in the FIFA19 demo that’s how far behind schedule it is!!! Rumour has it Wembley will be our home stadium and NWHL won’t be available until March! :sneaky:

Part of a tweet from a THST board member re the LoveSportRadio item on the stadium
“It’s tremendously poor journalism tbh. For the record, I spoke with a Spurs Director this afternoon and the story is complete rubbish. Hope that helps”

Match which year, a friend I know over heard someone on the bus that's dad works at the stadium talking that his sister sleeped with some guy whos Gran goes to church with Betty who's husband drinks in the same pub as Dougal who doesn't think the stadium will be done by 2043!! :cautious::barefoot:

If any of this is true the club will have to be making plans for a new access card to Wembley for all ST holders as they aren't going to want to carry on with the refunding money system they are using at the moment. Just as an aside, this thread started on 4th November 2008 wouldn't it be nice to be in on its tenth anniversary.

I think the club is likely to form a partnership with an established home-builder to construct the flats. A common way to do that would be for THFC to throw in the land, the developer to cash-flow the build, using their usual sources of borrowing, and for their to be a division of risk and profit based on the out turn costs and sales receipts. That would be roughly another £100m that the club doesn't have to borrow.
as has been stated a few times by the club we have an agreement with three banks for a total borrowing of 400m. Do we assume that that will be the debt we run with when finished. If so that’s not too bad
