So I gifted a ticket to someone in my network for the Brighton game. They got a print at home ticket but it had no bar code on it. Does this usually happen or is it an error?

Probably a stupid question!

Had same problem with one shared, spoke to ticket office and they are sending out again Tuesday morning with code. Mobile app should be uploaded by then too

That's good to know I'm not to only one!

I've pinged them an email as I doubt there is anyone in today. Will try to call them tomorrow and hope for the same result as you. It all a bit complicated my end though as I set it up for him with an email address not in his name. I'm sure that will help the confusion!

I had a look on the mobile app for him and it says there's no ticket. All a bit strange.

During my wander around the outside of the stadium at the Legends game I noticed that there was an independent left luggage facility in Worcester Avenue.

Does it still operate?
If so, does anyone have any experience of using it, and how much does it cost?

I have a laptop that won’t fit into the ‘bag for life’.
You can bring in laptops, separately. I can't be arsed to find the right paragraph of the guidelines right now, but if you look on the OS, it's there.

Think you are missing the point mate. Its the principle of being mugged off.
Same as the £3.50 I paid in Frankie and Bennys for A CAN OF FKIN COKE. A CAN!!!
Wankers probably popped over the road to Tesco and bought it.
We wont be going there again. Tossers.
FrBe probably feel mugged off with the £60K they pay in rent and rates. Not having a pop at you personally but I feel as though the cost of running a business is lost sometimes.

Ah what a shame. Poor F&B.
Seriously mate wtf?
Any business with money trobles doesnt mean you can treat customers like idiots and mug them off.
If they cant afford the rent then move.
People want to pay the going rate for everything. A small increase for quality maybe.
You cant stick a 300% increase on a can of coke and expect that to be acceptable when you're located next to a shop that sells the same product for fk all.
Same as a car showroom cant go sticking an extra £3k on a car because 'well our rates are high and our staff are paid good money.' Oh ok mate sorry I didnt realise your plight. Have an extra 3k. Hope it all works out.

Jeez.

You’re not getting the same service at a shop as you are at FrBe. The restaurant offers you a pleasant environment to sit and enjoy the coke that is brought to your table. I’m sure they would also provide a lemon and ice in a glass that they will then wash up for you.

You might not find that service good value on the end but you aren’t just being sold a good (like at the shop). In the end the market will decide if what they offer is worth it.

Also probably charge that much to deter rifraff sitting down and drinking cokes hours on end. Seems it may have worked :sneaky:

Why the spam rating?
And no I didnt find it good value when other restaurants charge nowhere near that so the market doesnt find that the going rate! Thats the point or I wouldn't have brought it up!
Harvester for example have fill up as much as you want for less than that.
Anyway I'm done here.
If you guys want to get mugged off and are happy with it then youre either stupid or money doesnt matter to you.
Whatever.

Thread derailed.
Get back on topic :)

I don't think £1.75 is that unreasonable. A lot of it will be going to Ticketmaster to pay for the design, upgrade and maintenance of their site, the server costs etc. It's also got to cover the costs of the physical ticket office and phone line and the staff involved. There'll be a card fee for every transaction, probably in the region of 0.5% of the ticket cost.

They do offer the option of the automatic cup ticket scheme too, which means you don't pay any booking fee, even though the club has to charge you seperately for each cup game and pay that card fee, so the booking fee has to cross-subsidise that as well. If the club makes any money at all off it I expect it's minimal, and I doubt fans would be placated if it was 25p cheaper and they definitely made zero profit.

Does anyone else think it feels like now that the stadium is actually finally here and the players have seen it, experienced it, played in it, that Toby and Eriksen may be having a rethink? Its sunk in just how ambitious we are?
Having to stay at Wembley longer than we wanted, not purchasing any players, lets face it things looked a bit Mickey Mouse just a few weeks ago.
Even though you knew the stadium was coming its different once it actually arrives.
And now we're in a CL semi final with a great chance to reach a final as well.
Seeing Toby go ape shit after the match on Wednesday, seeing the team spirit, the joy and camaraderie between the whole team, I find it strange any of those guys would still want to leave. As long as we offer a reasonable wage increase I'm sure keeping Toby and Eriksen is not beyond hope.
I really hope so anyway.

Eriksen and toby will stay if they can't get a better offer elsewhere. If they can they're off.

Why is it not simply swallowed in the actual ticket cost? I hate booking fees used to disguise costs as if it’s a legitimate add on. The cost is the cost ffs.

Very much a case of careful what you wish for I reckon. Firstly you wouldn't have the option to avoid booking fees by joining the automatic cup scheme. Secondly, there's no way they'd have prices ending in .75 across the board, so you'd almost certainly be paying £2 instead.

If it was then everyone would be asking why the price is what it is ending in 75p. Basically whaterver happens people will complain. But the simple answer is if you don't like the price don't pay it.

Some folk just love to have something to complain about and they all seem to migrate to chat rooms like this one

True. It says “Please note, laptops are permitted as long as they are placed within a bag that meets the above criteria.”

As the laptop doesn’t fit in a bag with ‘the above criteria’, I’m looking for alternative options.

Thanks

Eriksen wants to leave to join his dream club RM/Barca (no one knows for sure) it's not wage related

Toby is totally different, and going by what JJ said in the wish list not that long ago (last 2-3 months), Poch feels very let down with what Toby did and so badly that if Toby stays (signs a new contract) Poch will walk. whether deep down they have made up no one knows
