Not sure you can blame them if we end up with a fixture pile up, the fixtures were planned for us to be in our new stadium, had they known we’d play most, if not all, of the season at Wembley we wouldn’t have been programmed to play at Wembley on SF weekend.

Sorry I think we're discussing separate issues.

The point I'm making is the way the fixture calendar works is that two of our Saturday PL games - Palace and Brighton - could both end up being moved for FA Cup games.

Spurs are then left with 1 game in 31 days, then potentially 4 games in a week during the run in, or not enough dates to fulfil our fixtures.

It should be possible to schedule FA Cup games midweek in circumstances where a team is having it's season severely disrupted, else the integrity of the PL is effected.

This could be perceived as partizan whinging, but the system we have in place could easily see a scenario where sooner or later a team is relegated by 1 point, and be able to point to this is a factor.

What is crazy is how many home games we could end up with in a short space of time. I would certainly see us push really hard to play them at the new stadium. Imagine Wembley games midweek and at the weekend in quick succession back to back weeks. I dont think anyone wants that. The capacity for those midweek league games would be at an all time low (no disrespect but going to see Brighton or Palace isn't going to draw a big crowd). Do those games at NWHL however and you fill the stadium in every game because everyone is going to want to get to that stadium regardless of opponent.

You could even say it's the ideal scenario because having a handful of games to choose from will give more fans (outside of the ST holders) a chance to go sooner rather than later. Not to mention how it could affect our final run in at the end of the season. Talk about closing the season in style (at the new stadium) with plenty more home games than away. Imagine we won the title having played twice as many home games as away games in the final 2 months. I think the complaints from opposing fans would make it all the sweeter.

Anyone see cowlins new vid where he said the gap in the panelling on the sw corner (stair to sky walk) is staying? Not sure it looks right, although when the scaff gets taken down will look better. Also each panel cost between £6-8k? Jeez. Sure archway steel could have done a better deal.

I thought Chris was talking about the glass panels, not the veil panels. I cannot believe that the veil panels cost that much.

It’s so bloody ugly, and ruins one of the best architectural features of the stadium which is that curve along with the slant of the shop.

Bet it's great walking up it though. People will see others walking up there and fancy it themselves.

To anyone who think Chris was giving a correct price for those aluminium panels, I don't know where his numbers came from, but he's way off the mark, standard PPC rainscreen is about £100/m2, maybe double that if its an annodised finish. Even stone or glass facades aren't anywhere near that much!!

Should be an aluminium panel in there as per the attachment.

He was talking about the replacement glass above the west entrance, he said they are made in Austria and shipped to Tottenham with each glass panel costing about 7 to 8 thousand pounds.

There is, but you can't see it from the outside as its dark grey.
Not sure how the aluminium panel can be on the inside of those temporary metal poles. Surely the panel will be installed after the poles are removed.

I think the idea of that gap is to enhance the thrill when walking up to the skywalk.
It's supposed to be an open environment and therefore will increase people's excitement, though I believe I read somewhere that they will be tether to a rail on the way up.
