I was sat next to tourist fans on Wednesday.
Strange behaviour! Left their seats about 40 mins in, came back 15 mins in to the second half with chicken and chips and left before the Lorrente goal - did it bother me, yeah a bit but, it didn’t spoil the game or atmosphere for me, plenty of fans near me singing their heart out. I just except this is Wembley and get on with it.
Think things will be different when we go home as there just won’t be as many tickets available, so less tourists I hope.
I've experienced the same thing at WHL so nothing new.
Just more of them.
If they wanna waste money and are happy missing most of the game then thats up to them.
Fkin strange thing to do though imo.
Twats lol.

I've read a book about Peter Cook. He was a huge Spurs fan. He went to Spurs v Man U back in the day and stood in with Man U fans. Then he started shouting Come On You Spurs and got punched in the face losing a tooth lol.
Legend.

Peter Cook is an absolute legend. Anyone not familiar with this famous Spurs fan check out some of his sketches, most notably Derek & Clive get the horn. Fantastic stuff

Looks like the East side screen is up and running.

I have no idea myself as I’m not in that industry but why is it so complicated to put a fire system in place. Every build has one surely there’s a way of working, a track record of how to do it? Just seems bizarre/incompetent

Currently talking to a few different fire system companies for the project i'm working on, of whom one was contracted in the analyse the system at the new stadium. He was saying they essentially installed the system before a fully developed design was in place, so none of it is up to the regulations. Therefore the entire system has had to be redesigned and all of what was installed removed and the then installed to the correct standards.

Cheers for that

Absolute incompetence at the highest level of this build

Useless ****s who couldn’t run a bath overseeing this project

Obviously absolutely nothing to do with the club or Levy, who as we know isn’t hands on with projects and doesn’t want to know what’s going on in the minutest of details!!!

Looking more and more like next fucking season

What an absolute cluster fuck

(To be deleted should we get in for the beginning of April!!)

Apparently the fire testing failed yesterday. Source is the fire safety department at the LFB.

Cheers Daniel' pretty much the truth of what we were told back in September then, which in a way is good news because nothing has changed so there is no reason for any additional delay.

It's not a stand-alone fire alarm in the old style. It's a software-controlled, integrated system involving different types of alarm, a PA and an escape system, including recorded/sampled announcements, automatically opening exits, lifts, perhaps escalators, automatically operated vents ("AOVs") and various forms of fire sensor, including CO, CO2, smoke, optical and heat.

@DanielCHillier's post above is consistent with everything convincing that I have read on the matter. It was always the alarm system, the alarm system and the alarm system.

I appreciate that but surely were not the first build to use that system.
