Might be a common expression but this is the only circumstance. No other club has been in this position.

So at the meeting discussing this did they frown? Kiss their teeth?
I've no idea what they did in a private meeting, but as I ever already said, theyve commented publicly saying that they don't want teams playing in more than one stadium in the season, and the publicly available handbook for PL clubs outlines the process states that it will only be allowed in exceptional circumstances after going through a due process.

I really don't know why you're so fixated on the expression I chose to use to be honest. I'm not talking about anyone physically frowning it's just a common expression, which you seem to be aware of, so why the obsession with it when what I've said is completely correct based on publicly available information. Im starting to think you're just trolling now to be honest.

These are the Premier Leagues Rules regarding stadiums:

K.5. Each Club shall register its Stadium with the Board and must play all matches in the competitions listed in Rule L.9 for which it is the Home Club at the Stadium. No Club shall remove to another Stadium (either on a permanent or temporary basis) without first obtaining the written consent of the Board, in accordance with Rule K.6, below.
K.6. In considering whether to give any such consent, the Board shall have regard to all the circumstances of the case (including, but not limited to, the factors set out in this Rule K.6) and shall not consent unless reasonably satisfied that such consent: K.6.1. would be consistent with the objects of the League as set out in the Memorandum; K.6.2. would be appropriate having in mind the relationship (if any) between the locality with which by its name or otherwise the applicant Club is traditionally associated and that in which such Club proposes to establish its Stadium; K.6.3. would not to any material extent adversely affect such Club’s Officials, Players, supporters, shareholders, sponsors and others having an interest in its activities; K.6.4. would not have a material adverse effect on Visiting Clubs;
K.6.5. would not to any material extent adversely affect Clubs (or Football League clubs) having their registered grounds in the immediate vicinity of the proposed location; and K.6.6. would enhance the reputation of the League and promote the game of association football generally

Not sure how it’s ‘heavily frowned upon’ when it’s with full approval of the PL. It’s either been allowable or not. A fully professional decision. I’m sure Spurs will have kept the PL much more up to date than us fans and any decisions will be made after consultation.
Jesus Christ. Sorry for using this expression. Let me rephrase to make it easier for you: You are allowed to play in two different stadiums during the season, however the powers that be i.e. the PL would rather you didn't. However, in exceptional circumstances, such as what we have, there are means in place to allow for it to happen.

I'm really not sure why this is so difficult to understand. My original point was more that it IS allowed, just that they'd rather you didn't. But as I used what I thought was a fairly common expression, I've ended up going round in circles with you about the specifics of eyebrows and frowning ffs :rolleyes:

MR AV's latest.

What an incredible stadium. As much as we're frustrated about the delays getting in, it looks like it is definitely worth the wait. The atmosphere will be electric in there and fingers crossed we will see the next greatest era of watching Spurs winning top trophies in this world-class stadium

They say there will be no cheese room, but there's stiltons to do at the stadium before its complete.

Also, if the toilets stop working, where else will we find a PortSalut...?
