It's clearly all guess work from here when the stadium will actually open, although we can be pretty certain it won't be the Arsenal match. If the stadium is ready by March and we are in the quarter finals of the F.A. cup and the Champions League then we will have at least 6 and at most 8 home matches left to play:

-16th March: Crystal Palace/ FA cup weekend quarter finals
-6th April: Brighton
-9th April Champions League Q 1st Leg
-13th April: Huddersfield
-16th April Champions League Q 2nd Leg
- 27th April: West Ham
-30th April Champions League Semi-Final 1st Leg
- 7th May Champions League Semi-Final 2nd Leg
-12th May: Everton

with all the chat that we won't open for the Arsenal match due to security risks, lets hope if we are ready to go the quarters doesn't equal Tottenham v Arses (5k supporters allowed):cautious:

This guy has been guessing over the entire process, a broken clock's still right twice a day. Think a big grain of salt is necessary for someone who also can't spell our chairman's 4 letter last name...

This would be so Spursy, to put off the league match against Arsenal for security reasons, hope to open for the FAC 6th round and.... draw Arsenal.

Well they did own Mr Byrite.

Janssen
N'Jie
N'Koudu
Soldado
Capoue
Etc
Etc

We don't byrite very often.

Seeing as we have one of the lowest net spends yet are one of the best clubs in the league says that we are the best at buying the right players.

Today is the first time it’s really crossed my mind it could end up like another Wembley. They’ve had near on 6 months to sort the fire alarm stuff and don’t seem much closer to it being resolved.
I reckon we probably are just a teeny weeny bit closer don't you?

We need to go in this season. I know it's a total long shot but could you imagine if we won the league there? And a cup at wembley?

I am sure there is an answer to this and perhaps its been answered before, hell i think even I asked the question before but how the fuck can something of this importance go unchecked and undetected for so long? By this I mean the critical systems etc... I genuinely dont get it...

I understand projects and construction overruns that goes without saying and is a given BUT in this case the overriding cause of the delay seems to be these critical systems which by its very nature and name is CRITICAL yet is checked right at the moment of truth?

Maybe im looking at this too simplistically and as a layman but i just find it difficult to fathom

I think it’s because we are paying more for the same seat at Wembley than we were last season.

that might be because you do usually face an increase most seasons, and your seat due to the club not having the same agreement in place and restricted crowds are costing the club a lot more money per game.

if it was the clubs fault for the delays I could understand people expecting it for the same or less as a sorry, but this is costing the club big time without any guarantees they will get it all back from MACE (they are the ones you need to be angry with)

Yeah was pretty shocking when I actually looked at the dates.

Basically we can't play Brighton or Huddersfield at Wembley on the weekends they're scheduled for. And we can't play at any other stadium. Without having a crystal ball on other fixtures around that time it's hard to say whether they could be moved to midweek -- and even that would only apply to the Brighton game - the Huddersfield game there doesn't appear to be an obvious solution as post the Joshua fight the Wembley pitch will be absolutely fucked. And obviously the other clubs would have to agree, which they may well not do if it gives them unwanted fixture congestion.

In reality if we're not in NWHL at this time, 3-0 forfeits are a very real possibility.

we played the day after Joshua had his last fight, and no reason we can't play Brighton on the Monday night if we don't make the semi's ourselves. or like what happens with teams that are in it, or the games that occasionally do get postponed we will then need to reschedule

what would be great is for 1 day see you post something positive about the club in any thread

I paid £695 for my season ticket at Wembley last season. To sit in the same seat this season it’s costing me £945 (if we were to remain at Wembley for the whole season). I know there’s a whole load of variables, and I can see why a lot of people would be annoyed. They should really be charging us the same as we paid last season if they were being really fair.

Hopefully the club can sue MACE (or whoever is truely to blame) for damages and get some money back. I bet they won’t then be passing some of it onto the fans though!

fair enough that's a fair bit more. not sure how much the yearly increase would be but definitely not £250 worth. how much was your ST for the NWHL
