Just out of interest does anyone have a map of the new Matchday Parking restrictions being implemented in Enfield?

Enfield has a pretty strict CPZ at the best of times - https://new.enfield.gov.uk/services/parking/parking/controlled-parking-zones/

Not sure about match specific, but Saturday is covered by the CPZ anyway and is pretty busy on a non-match day.

Managed to find the new Matchday specific map

Is this new or old? Not my doing and may well be crap but there are details and dates that might be interesting.

If this is true then the club owe the people that bought season tickets some serious compensation.

Hopefully it’s bollocks.

Agree. Completely unverified, but I don't kind of like the details.

Where is this pulled from?

Seems to me someone is just making up things with the hopes of being correct.
A ST holder that sits next to me sent it. He wouldn't cause mischief but then he wouldn't dream of putting this together either. Where it's come from originally I can't be sure. 29th July will tell us I guess.

I would assume its a logistics thing, one tray which was the closest to the loading layby externally of the stadium had the sand in. The other two only a small amount at that end. Which means its entirely possible they couldn't access the trays with the plant required whilst they where they were. No they're all wheeled out they can

Also, bare in mind the buildup probably can't take an 8 wheel lorry hoofing across it to load out the sand, therefore the only option is by small tipper loads which is time consuming. The laying of the turf itself will probably be quite quick, the rolls are laid by tractor.

I agree that our pitch will not bear the weight of bulldozers/trucks (cue bulldozer driving on to the pitch...) I suspect it is the same at anfield as they too installed these new fangled 'milk' crates under their surface - last summer.

They create a void so any storm/excess water just drops through. Also it allows air to reach the roots - air also will be actively sucked through the surface of our pitch, although how they distribute the vacuum is anyone's guess. There is probably a good joke to be made here, but it evades me.
The down side means installation and replacement of the pitch will be more complex.
All the same, this is very slow going.

I think I've worked it out. If there were to be problems that stop the game going ahead against Liverpool (and Levy himself will not know for sure), the last thing we'd want is to be told to play it behind closed doors.

Therefore the pitch installation will be timed to be the very last thing that needs doing before that fixture. Calculate how long it will take to level the sand at the current rate, (there might well be a sand/soil mix layer to be added too), add a week to roll out the grass, and that will be when the whole stadium will be ready. imo

the NFL busy schedule? we are only holding 2 games over the next 10yrs unless a franchise is bought/signed or whatever it is when/if it ever arrives, and I do believe it clashes with the PL season

I meant if there were concerts and other events packed into the summer, (ontop of the nfl pitch) then that would restrict the time to relay our pitch.

I hope its not true, but could well believe test events being rescheduled, having said that its amazing what can be achieved in only a couple of weeks, if like me you watch the cams every day its hard to gauge the volume of work and progress over a month... everyone was fretting about the roof and then when the team mobilised they showed how fast it could get done. So i still have (blind) faith it will all get done to the revised schedule

We dont know what is on the critical path so have to trust things are being done as and when they need to, from my point of view I think there are three key points to all of this

a) the stadium needs to be ready not finished - and we dont know what constitutes as ready for the test events and then the Liverpool game, i would not be surprised if for the first couple of events only a couple of corp boxes if any will be needed, sky bridge and walk wont, veil/cladding wont, most restaurants and cheese room wont etc etc etc

b) the Liverpool game is key, my understanding is this is an extension to the original planed 'handover' and I for one would expect to see a flurry of activity on visible areas if MACE felt under-pressure of not meeting this. I doubt Spurs would allow things to slow and the deadline slip to the NFL game without a real push to get it done earlier,

c) I am not a ST holder (i wish i was but its not to be), but even if the first game gets delayed to... in the grand scheme of things I for one dont care, we are going to have a truly amazing stadium that we can all be proud of, that I for many years thought was just a pipe dream, but its tangible, its almost done, so what if it ends up being a little late, not ideal but in a couple of months it wont matter it will be history. I sympathise with those that dont want to travel to Wembley but the club is within its rights to do so and more importantly after last season i dont think it will affect performance on the pitch

it's from a posting on another forum that was made this morning. Not sure what to make of it but I honestly think whilst it wont be complete, the stadium's first official match will be the Liverpool game even if the stadium isn't "completed"

I think the club even said not all areas will be 100% compete...Personally if its not painted that wouldnt bother me.....However, if the statement were true that would be a complete PR disaster. There would be a massive damages claim from Levy....and the press would be allover it

Ok so one month ago, the club were in a position to confirm the first test events and the first official match. And since then (again, in one month), delays have meant that the first test event has been pushed back by 3 weeks and the stadium might not be ready for the NFL match in mid-October.

Erm...no, doesn't add up for me.

We seem to be in a very negative position at the moment

Will the ground be ready?
When will they actually launch the kit that is actually already being sold?
Will we get a naming rights deal before the stadium opens?
No new players yet
Talk of spending big...........but other clubs are leaving us behind
Some media trying to turn others against our players by blaming them for the WC semi defeat
General dislike and lack of appreciation for Harry Kane by anyone non Spurs
The Tony Contract situation

The club need to give us some good news soon!!!!!
