Last of the cranes now gone so hopefully they can clear all the mobile cranes and vehicles out and extend the pitch fully then start laying the turf properly.

Couple of drones flying over NHWL w=earlier this afternoon. Spotted by Shelfside_Lower on SSC

Yesterday there were 2 strange military style hybrid helicopter/planes flying over North London (Ally Pally as a focal point). I suspect these are they. I think it was a trial for Thursday when Trump arrives and his flight arrives at Stansted! I hope his passport control is better than the last time I used it! They were noisy buggers and certainly a lot bigger than drones.

I was working just south of Stansted last time Obama visited. They flew right overhead, Marine 1 + backup, 2x Apache, and 3x Osprey. Some serious hardware.

Yes we had those repeatedly circling over us, near Camden Rd and the Cally. Assumed they were from an earlier era of aviation.

Practising for the 100 years of RAF flyover today at 1pm 100 aircraft including the red arrows, fying the A12 corridor into Buckingham Palace for 1pm, should be quite a sight.

They've been practising over us (Lincolnshire) for the last week or so, it is quite a sight.
