I would also use him on the right of a middle attacking three if needed. We would still want a rough and tumble b2b but he's versatile and would work there.
I saw your other boy Hermoso got called up to the Spanish national team.

For those interested, Lo Celso has just run Barcelona ragged. Betis winning 4-3. He got a goal, all be it lucky, but in general he has been fantastic. Moving the ball around with intelligence and at the centre of everything.

Kevin Mbabu looked really good for Switzerland against Belgium the other day. Has anyone seen much of him?

Just from a glance, he reminds me of the RB version of Ben Davies. Pace isnt evereything but we desparetly need our next pair of FBs to be able to cover lots of ground.

I remember him as an out of his depth youngster at Newcastle. Seems a move home was the best move for him.

To be fair, a move away from Newcastle is usually the best move for anyone.

watched the zenit game, paredes was natural class on the ball. but seemed to revert to his lazy habits off the ball. expected the ball to come to him and only half heartedly closed down. as much as i rate him, it made me wonder if he could fit into poch's mould.

now i'm watching the genk game and watching berge for the 1st time, off to a decent start.

Hadn't realised until now that all the old scouting threads have been locked.

Anyway, my big one to watch in the coming years is Antonio Nusa. 18 years old. Norwegian, Club Brugge, left winger. A goal and an assist in his Norway debu today, admittedly against Jordan so not top opposition. Scored in the CL last season during Brugge's mad run in the group stage. Full of pace and trickery but the little I've seen of him has been extremely impressive with his vision as well. He can really pick a pass.

Chelsea made a €35m bid on Deadline Day that was turned down. He could go for 50+ next summer.

Pierre Ekwah at Sunderland looks like a Ange type player and a possibly rotation for Bissouma. Also, I believe he would be considered HG as he joined the Chelsea academy when he was 16

If anyone connected with spurs read this- please go an scout/buy Antonia Nusa.

Norwegian left winger.
Pro:
Quick
Good with both feet
shooting (both feet)
Dribbling

cons:
18 years an not by far the finished article.
Needs to build more muscles

this kind of raw talent is rare.
Has the style of play like Neymar, Ronaldinho.

He plays for Club Brugge, and he himself rejected an 40m£ bid from chelsea this summer.

this is a future star, so please Tottenham- go get him.

Also check out the highlights from Norways Game against Georgia last night- not the best opponents, but still a qualifier game- and you can see the skill.
The assist to Ødegård for the 2-0 is almost football-porn

Edit:
Just saw that @Marty was way ahead of me😎

Because with Son, Solomon, Perisic, Gil and Richarlison in the squad we're really crying out for someone who can fill that left wing slot right now ;)

Son and perisic are both over 30, and IMO he is already better then gil and Solomon.
This one is a true gem- and has the potential to be world class.
We should always be looking for our new world beater.

Sorry I was posting a bit in jest. Perisic's contract is up next summer and you're right in that Gil and Solomon are both squad players.

We are in need of a proper long term Son replacement and it might even be more of a short-medium term replacement if Son continues from the Burnely game as our No. 1 striker.

Your point above is right - regardless of when he will play for us we should be getting him in, even it if means loaning him back to Brugge for another half/whole season.

Mikey Moore plays predominantly on the left wing and is an outstanding talent who could just develop into a top class premier league player. Signing someone like Nusa could block Moore’s path to the first XI.
