Watching us yesterday it just looked plain Navy on the TV as the purple was too dark to really show.
Good. Purple isn't one of our club colours and having it on our kit has always been a fucking stupid idea. Even moreso when you're combing it with navy.

I would say its prominence on Klinsmann kits has made it a pretty iconic colour for us, we’ve consistently had it in the mix

Sorry if already mentionned, but Nike official shop has the home kit with long sleeves listed :
https://www.nike.com/gb/t/tottenham-hotspur-2019-20-stadium-home-long-sleeve-football-shirt-f6hr1M

Looks fucking classy. But it's weird they're selling it and Spurs shop is not.

Anyway I just bought one :singing:

THE PRODUCT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE

I always prefer them to wear long shirts but I thought Nike stop producing it for a few season now?
They have to wear the tight long ones underneath.

They appear to have a few bits Spurs don't, it's not that weird TBH back with Under Armour they often had a few bits the club appeared not to, sometimes there was the odd different thing available in their US store too. (sometimes the only option when you're after a bigger size due to it being slim fit was to shop US)
I'm guessing the Spurs store has some things the online side doesn't too.

Yeah, I think that they do have “exclusive” items on their website from time to time. If they don’t sell out they usually make their way to Spurs online shop at a later date...at least from what I can recall.

Yeah it was. Obviously all the players were swearing a lot and the shirts were darkened but I still don't think you can see it greatly, lost a pointless addition in all honesty. I was hoping with that there'd be purple on the shorts in the form of a stripe down either side or socks like in Inter's away with a lot of the secondary colour in them. Instead they've just gone for the most basic of combinations.

I wonder if that light blue third shirt that we've seen was real, most of the Nike shirts have been revealed now and not one other top has the collar that was shown on ours.

This is what I mentioned earlier in the thread, that we didn't even get away shorts, they're just the home shorts, which imo is pretty lazy... especially considering they're identical to last seasons home shorts, which are on sale and these ones are charged at the full £30 :ROFLMAO:

(Little money saver there for anyone buying the full kit for their kid ;))

Interesting, I always rather liked our purple kits, and the slight purple on this one looks nice IMO. However, the poster above is correct, from the TV view you couldn’t tell at all there’s any purple.

That was the interesting (if slightly geeky) thing about a lot of the kits we had with Under Armour you could take any of the 3 shirts from a given season and use pretty much any combo of the shorts and socks and still look like a complete kit that was meant to be, in theory we should never had kit clashed with anyone (yet we always kit clash with smegging Newcastle)

I didn't like every kit they did and some always had that one thing too much but I can see why they did it (our UA template for whichever season then became the pick and match templates for the lower league sides the following season (IYSWIM)

Now with Nike we're back to being a renta-plate again.

The UA HP ones were great even the blue highlighter pen one (and I hate light blue)

I liked these apart from the shoulder pads on the home one (you see what mean with any shorts/socks could've been used bar the white European ones, in theory)

Sorry for the boring post

Yeah, actually feels like Nike chose the easy route with us a bit to be honest... Is similar to what they do with the lower league teams!

Went to Nike Oxford Circus yesterday. The home shirt looks like a cheap knock off. The one the players wear is a different story- the quality and detail is great. That’s £90 though. Shame the club don’t sell us the real shirt for the (poor) replica price.

I am editing as I realised/ reread what you said and totally agree crazy money just sell the same one the players wear

This is why I have issue with the cheap knock off looking one costing £65... It's not a £65 shirt in terms of design or material, it's a massively over inflated price for, basically, the crap version. And absolutely no way I'd spend £90 on a football shirt, even if I had the money to do so. Modern football is (and has been for a while) pricing out the "working man" and becoming a middle class venture, in terms of affordability when it comes to ticket prices and merch.

Interesting. Is it the same for the away kit (which I like) in that they also sell two versions?

Purple has featured heavily over the years whether it is an "official colour" or not. My beef is that it looks kind of dumb just randomly cut off at the top. Use the pattern all over or faded out from top to bottom. There's probably some dumb league rule that doesn't allow that but it looks silly just floating there at the top.

I saw this Polo with the new crest/logo design and I will avoid this at all costs
