I think it varies year by year. The first year of Nike was very late in the summer because the UA deal had to expire first. Things like that.

May also be a sleeve sponsor to deal with now?

I'd laugh if it was one of the following:

If you zoom in onto the blue stripes it repeats SPURS SPURS.....although they seem to be upside down on the collar.

But the outline to the cockerel is so bloody shoddy that it must be a fake imo.

I hate every kit with the red “AIA” on it and always will- but yeah, that’s fine I guess. There’s literally nothing Nike (or any other designer) can do with that logo on our HOME kit.

Ironically I quite like it (or at least don’t mind it) on out other shirts (away, 3rd), as it is, admittedly, at the very least unobtrusive. But on the home it just breaks my heart; I abhor red on a primarily white (with some navy blue accents) kit; it makes us look like an American flag lol.

Shifting gears for a second, I have a question for you guys: what’s with purple? I’ve seen this used as a color in our third kit for what seems like a long time (back to the Holsten days I believe), but I don’t get it...yellow is our third color, is purple our 4th?!?

Already this season I have seen purple in our warm-up jackets/training tops/etc. (Poch is regularly seen at pressers in that grey sweat jacket with the purple accents up the sleeves), but now I see that- if the leaks are to be believed- purple has officially made its way onto our second (away) shirt! I actually think a number of our kits with purple “look” good- but I can never endorse them because purple is blue and Red! Yeah I know- I’m being nitpicky- but red on a Spurs kit just irks me. Red is the color of them chunts up the road, of Liverpoo, of Manure...red is NOT the color of Bill Nicholson’s Lilywhites! Has purple always been a Spurs color? Like in the 60’s were we wearing purple kits, ever? Just curious...

Call me a purist but I can never get behind such a non-Tottenham color. Yellow I get— we’ve worn yellow for ages— but purple just doesn’t say Spurs to me.

'Nitpicky' is an understatement there.... :D

For anyone who moans about a bit of red on the shirts.... think we have had it going back past the last few sponsors.

If yellow, blue and purple are part of our history, so is red.

Spotted this on Reddit, where it was apparently seen on Twitter, but hadn't seen it in this thread yet so chucking it out there. Not sure if that could be a real promo shot, or one mocked up based on what we know about the Nike logo text and the design on the leak of that glove :cautious:

Yup.
I like it.
Pops loudly...let’s hope it will have NDombele’s snap and Lo Celso’s crackle wearing it next season...
