Actually I’m surprised there aren’t more small outlets around London/Essex.

West Ham have one in Westfield, which opened before they moved to the Olympic stadium I think.

Is the one at the Harvey Centre in Harlow still open?

Was blown away by the size of the shop of the Nou Camp when I visited in April, and then I remembered ours was due to be bigger! Madness

IIRC, Levy went over to see the store at Barca and took some inspiration from it. When I went there in 2016, I remembered how tidy the split levels looked and the giant staircase down to where the shirts are sold, then I see we've got the the same (albeit smaller) set of steps!

There was some talk aeons ago that the store would be able re-stock shelves and racks and where necessary swap out entire teams (for whichever NFL is in town i assume) really quickly they're restocked from behind or something so when a rack gets low the display does a tracy island and a fully replenished rack appears in its place.

I may have made all this up of course, i mean there's hardly going to be a rush for this seasons home shirt is there.

I did wonder. The Barca shop is unbelievable in terms of size and layout. The giant staircase was really impressive, in the way it creates an auditorium for the club shirts. However, the way it also gradually becomes a mini version of Nike Town would suggest we will have the same concepts in place.

That is some next level retail if that's the case. Although the NFL thing makes sense. Can just imagine thinking you're grabbing the last home shirt only for the rack to disappear completely leaving you gutted that you've missed out.

Saw something yesterday suggesting the club shop opening would coincide with the kit release. Not sure if it makes sense to do that or not but it seems ambitious to do so in a building site.

Ally Gold has included that in his latest New Stadium round up

WHich was a really clever move seeing as westfield wont let west ham fans in.

The kit has been placed on racks here in the States.

Have we got an opening date yet for this?

I'm coming down to see my family 1st weekend of August then i'm gonna come to London for a day/night and i've promised my boys that I will show them the stadium. Obviously they are going to want to go to the shop...if it's open!

I went into the current club shop opposite the ground last Friday, and bought the new shirt. Whilst there I asked the young lady who served me when she was expecting to move accross the road. Her answer was "near the end of August."
