The player seems fair with the chance to be Spurs's main target this summer, not that keen in my opinion. It depends on how Spurs deal with Lyon now, should be quick maybe, last big name deal with them (Lloris) takes a long time to be done

I don't think the common denominator here is Lyon :cautious:

Knowing our track record for doing deals and also the validity of media rumours I shall not believe anything until the club makes an official announcement.....and then I'll have to read it twice.
Sorry to sound so negative but transfer windows tend to be frustrating times for Spurs fans....hope I'm proved wrong in this one...it's crucial to our chances of success next season

I personally think he'd be an important cog, similar to the way MacKay was.

Massive claim I know but I have a good feeling about him.

He seems to have everything in his game to improve us.

Remember when Poch said he was gutted to have Moussa Dembele so late in his career has he would have made him a greater player.

I think he has that opportunity with N'Dombele, he could make him into one of the best N'Dombele into a world beater.

I know Sissoko has had a great season but their are still elements in his game that are left wanting.

It'd be great to have competition for him, aswell as a replacement if either needed replacing or resting.

I really hope we can get this done asap.

It’s tough to take, but statistically, the longer we go without signing players, the better we are getting. This can’t be lost on Levy.

If we can go 4/5 more seasons without signing anyone (quality of our youth players would suggest we can) we may well be back to back European champions.

Can you imagine levy and Tottenham actually signing someone?
I can't

Not convinced by these daft EPL inflated ripoffs.

Clubs know they can ask for 'silly' money now. They win either way - they will get amazing funds, or thier best player is forced to stay.

Potentially having an even better season next year to give the player more money and promises.

OR - go and buy two more players with the money and sell them in 3/4 years for silly money too.

Monetary value is relative to the success of the game now, inflated prices. Football is not just a game on the pitch anymore, it is almost like a Chairman's board game or something. MONEY MONEY MONEY

Question is, will it kill the game eventually? Will people like you and me suddenly think actually this is ridiculous, our Hospitals are falling apart, and the education system, but it's ok because I go and watch a bunch of players to make me feel happy each weekend who collectively probably earn the whole Nations Income Tax amount in one Month.
