This would be a very poor deal for Spurs if this went through; and for a measly £8.5 milliom! From watching the game on Thursday it would appear that Sandro is, at least back to where he was in 2012-2013....an awesome defender.
The team needs him Mr Levy,

If this was posted before the Thursday game I would have said 12mil and do the deal.....
However .....after watching him Thursday night,he was awesome ....total Beast.
He hunted everyone down, broke play up,even once he broke the play up it passed it a lot better than he had been before.....he was full of energy.

Now personally I would love to see him given that chance against a top team and see if he can do it.
At his best,he is one of the best in his position.....but for the last year and more he just hasn't been upto it.
Hoping he wasn't putting on a show to put himself out there and he wants too move ....hoping its more of a case of he showing Poch he can do and wants to fight !!
No one knows whats said behind the scenes so ....but on Thursdays performance I would want him too stay BUT to carry on at that standard.

However if he goes ....we do have Capoue who for me as been really good and does the same job as Sandro, but is a better passer of the ball, but probably not as aggressive in his tackles ( which card wise can be a good thing ).
Sitting on the fence with this one after Thursdays game ...hmmm ,but still 8.5 mill ....too low unless there is some major addons added.

He was good but let's remember who the opposition were please people.
It was hardly him dismantling Man City or Real Madrid, so let's hold of the "he is back to his best" just yet.

Looked up for it and I would like more than £8.5m, but it depends what we could do with that money quickly if we needed it.

Thought he had a great game v Limasol. Put in a few trademark tackles which showed confidence after such a serious injury. Also had bags of energy and used the ball well. Downside was that AEL were very poor but nonetheless I thought he looked fit and hungry. Will understand if he goes but will be thrilled if he stays.

Personally I'd love him to stay, and stay fit. But with Ben Stambouli signed I think the writing's on the wall.

We all love Sandro but with the new guy coming in we may have to admit defeat on this one. Has he ever been a regular under a number of different managers? It looks like Capoue, Bentaleb and Stambouli will be first choice as defensive midfielders and if that's the case perhaps we're better off taking the money. It could be like the Dawson deal in that we all miss him but he's not going to start it might be for the best for us as well as him, he doesn't want to be missing out on first team action either.

I think would be fair to let Sandro go to Napoli or QPR for a good price as he is too good a player to be sitting on the bench.. considering his injuries maybe something like £8 million would be about right...

I just cannot see him getting a regular start now, and he would want regular footie. Good luck to him if the move comes off.
