Yes but not even Spurs fans think we can win the title. We are a young developing squad and their will be hiccups a long the way as our mentality grows.

More like "answering a journalist's provocative question", I think.
More like a compliant journalist tossing up a question, so that in the event of a Chelsea win a familiar narrative can be replayed. English football journalists tend to be idiots.

That's exactly the point. I don't look at the side and question whether we're ready to win the league because I know the answer. I do ask whether we're progressing in a way that a team who might win the league in 2019 or 20 would. I think we're on course to mount a challenge but games like Sunday's will tell us more.

If this team doesn't win it this season or next season then it won't happen. If Liverpool could come from nowhere to nearly win it 2 yrs ago then we can too. But there's too many vultures around for this team to stay together longer than that IMO (mainly thinking we'll lose poch).

We might get a tilt at it if others fall below standards but if we don't, what is important is what is being built at this club to put us on a playing field much more the level of the prem big boys so we can challenge consistently in the near future .
