Shock horror a Man Utd player gets goal of the month. These fan votes are pointless as most just vote for their own team.

Hazard wouldn't have got anywhere near his overcooked touch if he wasn't fouled for the penalty.

Di Maria GOTM..I agree..Jagielka was a fluke..
Agree, although in this case it was probably deserved.
Pelle's scissor volley for me. The touch he makes in setting it up for himself sold it as you can tell that he meant it. Seriously one of my favourite PL goals ever.

Di Maria 2nd, Austin 3rd, Jagielka down in 4th.

Plus Wenger should have been sent to the stands for pushing Jose.

It was comical - really funny. Best ever has to be when Wenger was sent to the stands at Old Trafford and he stood in with the crowd and motioned to the ref 'what's wrong with standing here'? ...and then he had to move again. It was like being sent off twice just to dig the hole deeper for himself. Idiot.

Wenger's meltdowns are the gift that just keep giving.

I'm another who records it and watched back on sunday morning so I can skip the "analysis". When Alan Shearer and Robbie fucking Savage are your "experts", then you know you've slipped down the pecking order. But then it's been clear for a while that the beeb just don't care about football these days.

I love how they freeze the replay to check for offside on the pass to Aguero but not on the shot where it actually was offside.

Well, that was awful, I get the Aguero wankfest at start, but the rest was just bad

I missed MotD. What was the general jist of our game? Interested to see if they spoke about the ref having a howler.

Not really. During the replays of the first City goal they froze it on the pass to Aguero but not the shot where the actual offside was. Shearer was insistent that Fazio's red was correct. No mention of Milner's two footed lunge, and no one pointed out that the ref should have called them back to re-take the free kick which led to Aguero's fourth as it was taken about ten yards from where the foul was. Jimmy Floyd Haveawank did at least say Lampard dived, but that was about it.

Not surprised about Shearer thinking it's a red, he's got a striker's mentality and often sides with the attacker. Plus, he's not that smart a man anyway. It is often that a great player doesn't make a great pundit. Shocked that Hasselbaink would say something remotely bad about Lampard though, but not surprised that they didn't focus on Lampard's offside. Did they talk about Soldado's pen, or about him in general, by any chance? I thought it was poor of BT Sport to berate Soldado for missing the pen and completely ignore his general performance.

Well Shearer also reckoned the second Sunderland OG should be given to Pelle, even though it wasn't going in without the defender's touch... I turned it off after their rundown on the penalties, so I don't know if they even mentioned our good attacking play.
