No. It's the last ever cup game at the Lane with the stands as they're currently configured. There'll be another cup game at the Lane with newly arranged stands some time in 2018 or 2019.
Still a completely different stadium with different name!

No idea. It was simply a general observation about it's not always the case that they get away with an easy draw

The draw was difficult, the opponents on the day were a piece of piss. The Southampton team was unrecognisable.

Ship of Theseus, innit.

Same location, four new stands. Levy can collect all the cash he wants and bully broadcasters into calling it the Panda Cola Multidome at Huawei Leisure & Sports Park, it's still WHL as far as I'll ever be concerned.

Disclaimer: Now I don't want to get too ahead of myself because obviously we need to get past Millwall...

But the FA Cup semi final weekend is on April 22nd/23rd and should we progress the game against Leicester planned for that weekend will need to be postponed, pushing it nearer to the end of the season.

I really hope we get to send the fuckers down :cautious:

Now that's another little bonus, nice one.

But the stadium that's there now is not the same stadium that was there in the 50's, or even in the 90's either.

As someone else said, Ship of Theseus, but the way I see it is that the stadium has been constantly reconfigured over the decades, and we're simply embarking on the latest - and, in fairness, biggest - of these reworkings. For me, it'll be the same stadium.

Although if we do the unthinkable and lose to Millwall, my 2nd child is due that weekend so buggered if I care about Leicester.

Good luck to you and the Mrs with that one. I was panicking thinking it was the day I am taking the 16yr old daughter and her friend to a boy band concert in Dublin but that is a month later, 9th April.
It will no doubt clash with something.

So setup for North London and Manchester derbies in the semi finals...

If anyone makes it out alive from the Millwall game that is.

These things never work out. Gonna be at least one upset. And then there's that Chelsea lot...

It's already been mentioned that the last time Spurs drew Millwall in the FA Cup we went on to win it in 1967. In the original tie at The Den it was a goalless draw played in front of over 41,000 fans. A single goal from Alan Gilzean was enough to see Millwall off in the replay at The Lane with over 58,000 in attendance. We also beat them in the early 70s on the way to winning the League Cup. It was 2-0 and absolute mayhem in the ground.

That 1967 Cup was my 'coming of age' as Tottenham fan. 50th anniversary right there,

I was 11 years old and on the cusp of going to big school that September.

I was too young to remember those early sixties Glory days but that 1966/7 saw me making my first appearances at WHL and
I was able to soak up a rare live tv match... That cup final against Chelsea, billed as the first ever All London Final was a taste of things to come.

Off topic... I also remember watching the Celtic 67 European Cup final on a shop window tv in Stamford Hill near the Old Grey Green coach depot.

Innocent times.

Ah I remember that lovely 5-0 demolition of them down at the 'Old" Den. Their fans were true gentlemen - applauded all the Spurs players off the pitch - we were really that good. As we left the ground (that was more like a bunker) they showered us, not with compliments, but bricks!!

Individually of course, some Millwall fans are fine. As a bunch, there are no worse in the country. I am 100% certain they will cause some sort of unpleasant shenanigans that day. From experience, they didn't care back in the day if they hit man, woman or child. A high profile fixture for them will bring out the worst of them.

Wouldn't surprise me if the FA made this a Friday night match, thick ****s.

Surely the met decide what time this gets played?

The date/TV won't be confirmed until Friday. We go through against Gent and it'll probably be 2pm Sunday.

Classic Kane finish, low in the corner.

Really want Manchester and North London derby's in the semis. Don't want to meet chelski in this competition..

I know it's great that we've got lower league opposition and that one of Chelsea or Utd are going out, it's just I kinda wanted Chelsea to have to visit the Den.

Changing a stand every decade or so is keeping the same stadium. Knocking it down and moving it a hundred yards or so means it won't be the same stadium imo.

Chuck in it will be completely different to anything we've seen on the site before and it's difficult to think it'll be the same ground. It won't be.

I'll just be calling it the New WHL.
