This is fuck all to do with Dean, but I actually did something similar to what you suggest when I used to play.

We'd just finished a match (we won) on the shittest pitch we'd ever played on, in the middle of nowhere & a dilapidated portacabin for a changing room & the ref was a total **** throughout the match.

As we were walking off the pitch, somebody said "is there any chance of having a shower somewhere?"

I responded with , "you're fucking joking, you've got more chance of getting a fucking bus to Mars"

As I said, the game had finished & we were walking off the pitch. All of a sudden I heard, "Number 10, come here". I walked over to him & said "yes ref". He didn't say a word. What he did do was pull out a red card & told me it was for offensive language.

I was slightly miffed, but my manager got hold of me & dragged me off the pitch.

We went to the pub for the usual after-match food & a pint, then the ref pulled up in his car. My manager decided we should all go outside because of how fucked off I was with the ref.

As I was stood outside with the rest of my team, I noticed that the ref was at the bar with a pint of his own, which he finished & then ordered another one. We stayed outside for another pint and a fag, and I noticed he bought yet another pint.

Sweet. I said to the boys, "watch this" Out came my mobile, followed by a swift call to the local police station, to report seeing somebody pull into the pub in a car & they were on their 3rd pint. I gave his registration number, hung up & went back to my rather amused team-mates.

At our next training session, my manager handed me the local paper & told me to turn to the crime section. Waddya know. Mr Robin Gregory, a referee for the CFA (Cornwall Football Association) had been pulled up under suspicion of drink driving, was over the limit & had been banned from driving for 18 months & given a £200 fine.

I didn't give a fuck. The **** shouldn't have sent me off. Plus he's a prick for drink driving anyway.

Best of all, We appealed my red card, the CFA agreed I didn't use offensive language & I didn't have a ban or the £35 fine for the red card.

I don't like **** refs.
Sounds like you performed a public service.

If you charge someone with an offence they have the right of appeal as I understand things.
Why after serving 50% of the two match touchline ban was the written charge sent out after the Southampton game?.
Seems strange to me as an appeal I would have thought would have to have been made before part of the sentence was served.
Still it is the FA and strange things are commonplace as in Klopp can go ballistic and all is OK.

There was stuff said that hasn't come out however our frustration was from the Man United game and how he costed us there and we took a lot of that into the Burnley game.

I wasn't well and missed most of the match, but noticed a push on Kane when a cross went in. did a lot happen?

Davies got pushed on a corner but the main thing was Pogba clear red card and wasn't.

There was but I think Poch has genuinely complained about the Pogba one in a press conference.

We'd ample opportunity to finish united off comfortably but couldn't finish our dinner that day most of the shots were straight at DDG, cant really blame Dean for that one.

Well I do blame Dean for not sending Pogba off .The same Pogba was sent off for a lesser tackle after the united game which makes it worse. It did not help that after the united game Jamie Redcrap said "He is not that type of player and it was not even a foul"
This is the same Pogba that had got away with a similar tackle in a match before the spurs game and so in all it was three bad tackles in a short time for "not that type of player" when in fact he is the type of player that' has no shame in making tackles that are dangerous and career threatening.

The match is already several weeks back, but I remember the impression I sat with at the time. It was not as much about getting wrong major or blatant decisions (of which there were a couple wrongs) but repeatedly ignoring many smaller incidents that individually would not affect a game, but when put together on an aggregated basis might influence the match result. Ignoring possible free kicks, the odd wrong decision on which team the ball goes to on obvious throw-ins etc. Stuff like that that really isn't major, unless it goes on for a full match and very disproportionately so. Incompetence should manifest itself proportionally for both teams. Bias is inherently a disproportionate distribution of bad decisions.

Not his fault we lost that game. Team should look at themselves
