Doesn't appear to be a dedicated player thread for him so here's one.

I've just seen he's not named in the Europa squad & there are rumblings coming out of Swansea (entirely unverified!) that he was let go due to a persisting knee injury

Anyone have any insights?

he hasn't been with the squad long so has probably been given a little longer to get fitness up.

Im sure he will be added to the squad for the group games

I dislike when people slate our medical team. Especially when they are doing an excellent job.
You have no ground to say they have made "clusterfucks" as you put it.

Sorry for the terminology I'll change it.

However I'm just verbalising what many feel (including some pretty damning ITK earlier in the year iirc) about our medical staff

That ITK was from someone who was not approved by the mods after countless asking.

More importantly he was WRONG! I wish people would stop slating our medical team. They do a quality service for our team, they are assesed and have to answer to the board as well.
The board would not have a medical team in place who was putting important assets at risk!

Our medical team are top proffesionals and each year improve there knowledge and always try to get new treatments to help our players.

I have posted in the medical thread before as well.

I cannot talk about Vorm but put it this way....

As with all new players our medical team will get a full history on him. Also a full medical will be done and all injuries past and present will be disclosed by the former club doctors as legally they have to.

I guess it could be Swansea putting out disinformation to cover themselves on 2 fronts, firstly to demonstrate to Utrecht (who've lodged a complaint to FIFA) why they're declaring it essentially a free transfer (bundled with Davis) and to somewhat appease their fans.

In any event, seems there are rumblings on a few fronts & I'm surprised it hasn't had much discussion about it

I cant agree with that mate, I respect your opinion but there is an issue at the club with either the medical team or fitness team
