He will get game time. Just not in the league... unless Lloris get's injured.

I hope he gets about 20 games this season - as that will mean we have progressed well in all the cup competitions. He is a good keeper and a couple of years ago, the best in the prem was agruably a toss up between him and Krul so i think it is good business. It also allows Poch to play the 'sweeper keeper' (hate that that became a thing during the WC) in all games unlike the past couple of years when our defenders had to switch styles depending on who was in goal. This should make squad rotation and injury cover much easier to control and make seamless.

If Vorm is in goal for Europa and we some how manage to get to final... Who goes in goal? Can't imagine Lloris being happy not playing in the later stages.

Totally agree with this. The difference in style between Brad and Hugo coupled with a feckless defence did us no favours at all in last year's cup competitions.

I suspect Lloris will be allowed to leave if we don't qualify for the CL this season, so Vorm is more of a contingency plan than a mere back-up.

I wouldn't care what he is happy or not happy about. The players that got us to those stages should be given their chance to win it.

I think Vorm is more likely to play CC and FA while Lloris plays PL and EL

Poch will decide who plays in the final and suspect it would be Hugo. CL place on the line you have to be ruthless.

If we do get to the Europa league final then I want the goalie in the best form as the winners qualify for the CL proper. I am liking the fact that we have just extended Lloris' contract and also have a new keeper closer to his peak than Brad. Strength in depth is no bad thing.

Hate to say this on his first day at the club but I hope I hardly see him. In Hugo we've got one of the best so I hope Vorm just warms the bench. Might let Brad move to coaching until Archer is ready, perhaps he can get another season out on loan.

I think our key players will give poch 2 seasons.

Once they see how much they enjoy the coming season with him they will wanna let him make the final adjustments to the team and see what gives with the following season.

Don't think lloris will bail if he's seeing great football in front of him this season. We'll squeeze one more out of him.

Then qualify for CL and he'll stay foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!

OK.....OK....I can agree Hugo can play if we're in the EL final. But let Vorm be the keeper if it goes to penalty shoot out
