Think we're overloaded already if incomings pan out without Janssen or a RB..

We really blew it by not signing AWB. That was not an unreasonable price (and a silly cheap salary) to fix RB with a HG player for the next decade.

Hope we’ve got something else up the sleeve. Aarons was never going to happen as soon as Norwich went up.

Sounds as though Aarons won't be a goer this summer which is a shame. Just wonder if we whether we will hold fire in getting a new RB in this summer and look to target Aarons next summer.

Personally, think we should address RB this summer as for me it's a glaring weakness and think the club will be keen to cash in on Trippier with him turning 29 soon and him not really being suited to our style of play imo.

Operation convert Foyth/Sissoko into a top class RB begins... I actually wouldn't put it past Poch!

The Quarterman might make it, but I doubt he'd do that with Sissoko at his age. By the time Moussa is fully adapted to the change, he'd be too old to be a proper Poch wing back.

Im somewhat “fortunate” to be close with someone that works for Norwich, he says it’s 50/50 whether Aaron’s stays and signs a new contract or whether he’ll be leaving. I definitely got the impression Norwich wouldn’t be opposed to him leaving. No mention if clubs have enquired, we moved swiftly onto the good business that we (Spurs) have been doing.

Also Godfrey has apparently signed a new contract. Dunno if that’s already been announced as I have very little interest in Norwich.

When I get a chance tomorrow il ask if we’ve put in any enquires.

Quick follow up, a bit pointless now The Goat has put an update out, he has signed a new contract but Palace did put an offer of £10m in that was swiftly rejected.

Palace have been in the Premier League for 7 seasons straight now and are rather unlikely to go down this season. Norwich are going to be in a relegation battle all season, which isn't an ideal scenario for a young attacking full back to show his skillset in his first season in the toughest league in the world. Moving from Norwich to Palace is a big, safe step up under one of the most experienced managers in football.
I disagree, Palace are not a club worth leaving Norwich for when playing for Norwich will give him a full season to get the experience he wants and at the end of it will be in a better position to decide his next move, I genuinely can see no good reason whatsoever to tie himself to a club like Crystal Palace right now.

We aren’t going to solve the right back issue are we. Ffs

Is Aarons really better than Trippier and Aurier at the moment? Time will tell but I don't think signing Aarons would have necessarily solved any issues short term.

Let's see how he gets on in the Premier League, I'm sure he's on our radar but he's very limited in experience so far.

Prem. league experienced full back for less than a million and probably not on large wages - it's just depth.

Norwich have agreed a deal for West Ham right back Sam Bryam, could this mean Aarons will be allowed to leave?

Very odd as would have thought he should have been given more game time for the spammers.

But then it is the spammers!

I don’t think they have announced Aaron’s has signed a contract. It’s been mentioned in the local paper that talks are ongoing. Norwich aren’t the type of club to stockpile players and I don’t think Byram would move to be back up to Aaron’s.

Aarons signed a new contract on October 18, up to 2023. Norwich have offered him a new improved 5 year deal but I don't think he's signed yet (it's apparently a formality though, terms all agreed).
