If he has a higher ceiling than KWP, then sign him. Although I reckon had KWP been playing in the Championship for Norwich the last couple seasons, he'd be the most sought after young full backs around.

Think this is who the itk is referring to. Deal with a loan back.
Yeah maybe but we need players for now the squad is looking thread bare and it was only so long the winks and sissoko partnership was going to look like a title challenging combo.

If we sign another right back that will beat the record of 2010 when we had Charlie huttton Chimbonda and god knows who else. Writing is on the wall we ain’t even at the 1st of January ?

I would certainly sell one of them and play kwp more next season.
I don’t know what more he has to do to at least be the 2nd choice RB
Surely Trippier's stock isn't going to rise any higher. Honestly think we should have sold in the summer after his performances at WC, and promoted KWP.

Trippier is having a hangover from the World Cup imo. He is a better player than he is currently showing. As it stands (unless aurier has a great end to the season) I would sell aurier in the summer and let trippier and kwp fight it out for the position and spend the money on a central midfield player

I agree with the need for investment in midfield. But it's a hell of a hangover if he's trying nutmegs on the edge of our box!

I think he's an average (for the PL) full back with a great cross.

With due respect that is a lazy stereotype. He is a good all round fullback who is going through some patchy form

It's not lazy, it's my opinion based on watching him play for us. Obviously we disagree, but that's fine :)

You may not rate him but to say he is average apart from a good cross is unfair. The guy has more assist in the last 3 years than most teams attacking midfielders and has been part of one of the best defences for that period too ( maybe not so much this year)

Like I said, we can have different opinions, and you make a good case. I only objected to you calling mine lazy.

More like Johnny
I thought Wight. A lumbering shambles that actually works well as part of a team. Better at attack than defence, and who knows what trouble he can cause the opposition once he’s past the wall.

That's a long hangover then, when you consider he gets rested plenty.

I’d sell Trippier and Aurier and try to buy Wan Bissaka and go with him and KWP for next season.

I don’t think either Trippier and Aurier are good enough defensively and Aurier doesn’t offer much offensively either.

Wouldn’t be totally against that the palace RB looks a real player
