Poch: We have an important game on Sunday to prepare for to secure our place in next season’s Champions League. I tell my player they must be professional in their approach, there will be time to celebrate when the job is done.

He has been talking about miracles and heroes all season. It could be that our inability to get him the players he wanted across the last two windows told him that he’d reached the ceiling with the club and squad. I dunno. It’s weird. It’s also entirely possible that that was his dry way of saying ‘ you never know what can happen in life’ but it doesn’t really read like that to me.

My current decision is to completely ignore it and enjoy the next couple of weeks
Nah, interview with Glenn Hoddle was clear that the money has been there and the decision not to buy was poch only. That hasn’t been Daniel levy. Glenn gave a knowing look like proper ITK, I believe that too.

He was messing with the press. He never said he was leaving before the match, he said and I quote "home". He is playing with the press because he knows they will twist every word and spent ages asking about United. You see him on the pitch after with Levy and everyone in front of the fans? He ain't leaving.

This 100%.

I think there’s been a whole lot of frustration this season. Stadium. Impact of World Cup. Injuries. Maybe players we thought we were signing, changing their mind, leaving us short. The media.

We now sit on the cusp of our greatest night ever.

Last night was just a release of all that pent up frustration.

The response to the question of whether he will leave in yesterday's post match conference was pure 100% sarcasm. I was concerned when I saw the clip from the other day, but I am not after seeing yesterdays.

Thank you Poch, you have changed the life of so many Spurs fans, long suffering fans.
Words can not describe what you mean to this club. Whatever happens in Madrid, we are eternally grateful. We all shared your tears last night. THANK YOU

I liked that

Lineker: "we don't know that though do we?"
Hodd: "I do" *nudge nudge*

Can anyone tell me what our/pochs philosophy now is? We used to play 4-2-3-1, press high as a team and move as a unit. It was obvious and very difficult to play against.

I haven't see that all season, and with the constant shape changes we just look like no one knows their roles or where to be.
In his first season we didn’t play the high press as we didn’t have the players for it.

With our injuries this season I don’t believe Poch has the personnel to play this system.

He is more adaptable than given credit.

I really hope we bring on players to suit this style again.

Seeing the starting eleven we put out at the end of 15/16 I could, on one hand, be fuming at Levy & co that we basically have not added anything to the team to take that final step in the league, but you could also just reinforce and gasp at what a footballing genius Pochettino is. We struck so much gold with him that it's actually unbelievable.

Sugar this morning on talk sport said he knew for a fact we had money to bolster the squad and Poch didn't want to. Thats Sugar, Glenn, most of the itk's and even Poch himself and yet still people blame Levy for not allowing him to spend.

Alan Sugar was on the radio earlier, and said he literally knows that was the case...the money was there.
