Some more comments from Poch at half time (courtesy of Daily Mail):

'We must say thank you to Daniel Levy because he was the one who believed in that dream and he deserves big applause, and all the board and the people behind the scenes who worked so hard to make this dream a reality.

'And the fans, thank you for being patient for the last two years at Wembley, with all that means to move from your home, but the pay-off is going to be amazing and a massive help for the team to have the possibility to finish this season.

'We are in a very good place in PL and we know we have a massive challenge in the quarter final of the CL but with all our fans, 62,000 people we can make possible our dream to be in the semi-final, why not?'

The Spurs boss added: 'I got the opportunity to play at WHL as a manager with Southampton and I could feel the support and the atmosphere and energy of the fans behind the team.

'It is going to be a massive fillip for the team to feel all our fans. It is our new house, our new home and it is going to be magic.

'White Hart Lane was magic and this is going to be one of the best of the best in the world.'

'When it starts to feel like home it will be unbelievable. I really believe the future of the club is going to be fantastic.'

A great ambassador for our club and the new stadium should provide a timely boost for everyone . Time for the players to deliver on the pitch now and secure top 4.

Poch is 47, I'm sure one day that one of these "big" jobs will be his. PSG feels like it could have potential, due to his links there. There's always that love he has for the city of Barcelona, and I wonder if he feels he has unfinished business at Espanyol.

But I've always got the impression that Poch likes the challenge. That working with youngsters, building teams and creating that positive culture that he achieved with the aforementioned Espanyol, Southampton and ourselves; That is what he enjoys. Of course he hasn't tasted the big time and the unlimited resources of the elite clubs, so who knows... he may really take to it.

It'll happen one day, but maybe not while he's still in his 40s. He has no need to rush.

I'm sure the narrative will change that Poch wasn't good enough anyway and neither club pursued.

Great news for us. I have a feeling he turned them down when Mourinho left. They would have approached him then, I bet.

Should be be a great boost for the team too. Don’t let it under estimate how the uncertainty may have effected the squad.

"The Tottenham manager is not the first to mishandle rumours of departure but the Argentinian has made a series of missteps since being linked with Manchester United."

Source: The Guardian

Whether you agree or disagree, some good points here worth discussing.

Personally I think Pochettino's performance recently has negatively affected the team, whether it's media speculation, pressure or just bad decisions. I'm sure he's back on form now though and ready to rally the troops for the run-in.

Excellent news. We keep Poch and Utd's form next season can take the same turn that Cardiff had under him :D

The article raises a couple of good points however to try and find correlation between those points and the rumours of other jobs is extremely disingenuous and undermines the entire article.
