Probably mate but then the club could end with real wankers for owners as we have seen with some other clubs, so are we better off sticking with what we have it's a tough one isn't it.

It’d have to be someone with serious wedge. ENIC are asking for £2 billion.

Yes mate we all know about the stadium affecting finances even though we were fed the guff years ago that it wouldn't affect spending which of course it has probably why we didn't recruit in the summer.
But I'm just a realist fella the stadium will help of course but the biggest income is from TV money and if some fans are expecting levy and co to spend like Arabs from now on I think they will be sadly mistaken.

the stadium won't mean we will spend like the Arabs but, players won't be turning us down because of wages, or Levy might not be tight with trying to buy 5mil under the asking price (don't expect him to pay over either). the TV money is big, and with attendances 26k bigger than the old lane it's worth will be more valuable. We will still find it hard to compete with Chelsea City and Utd in wages, but drawing Liverpool and Arsenal back to us make a big difference

We shall see at the moment everything is purely speculation from all of us fan's.

I doubt he’ll go. But if he did, it’s not like we’d be sniffing around the likes of Fat Sam or Woy for a replacement, is it? We’re a serious draw now, and I don’t think it would be impossible to improve on Poch. I’d prefer him to stay for another couple of seasons, but if he wants to go, I’ll be pretty relaxed about it.

I think this is extremely optimistic. I'd be absolutely gutted if he left and feel the total opposite of relaxed (unrelaxed?). And if he did it would probably be to Man Utd, Real Madrid or PSG - massive clubs. For us to then go and improve, would be very, very difficult. Just imagine how much the Man Utd fans would be celebrating if Poch signed up to be their next manager; they'd be going wild.

We do not have as good a team as 16/17 having replaced:
Walker for Aurier
Rose for Davies
Wanyama for Dier
Dembele for Sissoko
And have more points than ever! Those replacements wouldn't even be allowed to train with the Man City players. They're bang average, 7/10 PL players. I think they all have their uses and deserve praise, but they could be playing for West Ham. Poch gets every last drop of talent out of his squad, does not get backed and still makes us competitive. I think he's a fucking genius.

One more point, Klopp was struggling at Liverpool then in one year they bought a brand new, world class spine: Alisson, VVD, Keita (who will become a superstar) and Salah. He's been seriously backed - in midfield they signed Oxlade Chamberlain and Fabinho and wanted Fekir too. That's amazing support from the board. If Poch was backed like that, we'd be definitely challenging too
(given the run of fixtures we've got coming up, we still might). Here's hoping. COYS.

Winks for Dele?

Takes off a goal scorer, and weakens us defensively. I am not sure how I see that as a "Must" move for Pochettino to make when its 2-2 after 60 minutes.

Winks for Eriksen?
How has that improved the set-up? Winks is no better than Eriksen in terms of ball control and passing, and just as weak defensively. We have taken off experience for youthfulness. I agree it could have been done - but again, it was not a "must" or "obvious" move to improve the side after 60 minutes.

seems like my suggestion of Son Alli Moura attacking three works pretty well ;)

Poch must be flattered being linked to Real Madrid and Manchester United. My biggest worries is him leaving for Real Madrid and not United
Personally, I think that's the last club he should join, and I would hope he thinks the same. They don't think like him. It's all about the now. It's about big personalities. It just not Poch.
I think Italy would be more of a worry in a few years. Levy just needs to keep him happy for a few years and we will see Trophies, that will make him berry berry happy.

I agree with you regarding Madrid, they're just the wrong fit for him, but whether the allure of such a prestigious job gets the better of him remains to be seen.

Can't see him going to Italy though. Don't get me wrong, I love Serie A but the league in general is a lot less prestigious nowadays than the PL or La Liga and he won't get anything like the sort of money he could get at a Spanish or PL job. No disrespect to Serie A, but it, along with the Bundesliga, are very much second-tier leagues nowadays behind La Liga and the Premier League. When he's got the two undeniably biggest clubs in the world (Utd and Real) fighting over him, I don't see why he'd turn them down to go an manage in Italy. It just doesn't make any sense.

"Wrong fit". Quite of a lot of assumption and hypotheticals here, probably from the hope he doesn't leave. And it seems unlikely he will with the new stadium on the horizon. But the truth is he's made a few noises about the difficulty he's faced this season and his general happiness, which worries me. He's honest about players moving on and the notion of 'loyalty' and I genuinely think he really loves his job at Tottenham, but Levy should not make the mistake of assuming Pochettino won't leave if he feels he is being undermined. He wants us to challenge for the title and Levy will have to support this ambition sooner or later.

Is Mike Ashley a Newcastle fan?

Ashley supported Chelsea as a kid and remains a fan of the club to this day.

Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports in 2017, he said: “My earliest football memory was probably the school that I went to was famous because Peter Osgood went to that particular school, so that is my earliest memories of the importance of football.

“If you come from a little place called Burnham, which is near Slough, the nearest club is Chelsea. So you have the geographical influence and the Peter Osgood influence.”

After all his travails this season, tonight was the very least Pochettino deserved. Hopefully it'll help put new wind in his sails for the second half of the season.

Ive known this before but honestly wow what a manager he really is
No disrespect to our players but to think where our player was before he managed them to this is ridiculous

We can honestly compete against any team in the world, home or away
We can really go far in the CL this season

Just imagine how good we would be if he was backed..... please Lewis and Lewy please back him

He’s not magic, he’s the fucking wizard of oz + Harry Potter + Houdini combined. Interesting how he said the players haven’t ever celebrated like they did today after that result, possibly a catalyst now the way we qualified + new stadium hopefully opening early next year if it does and we are still in CL then we will have so much positive energy and momentum.
Fucking exciting.

COYSSS!!
Well done Poch AGAIN
